❄️ Chapter 35 — Shattered Shields

The tide had shifted.

The heroes bled, burned, and still stood.

But the venom plague did not stop. It only grew hungrier.

---

EXT. SPACE — NOVA (SAM ALEXANDER)

The void was fire.

Sam Alexander screamed through clenched teeth as his Nova helmet flared, blue energy trails streaking behind him. Chitauri fighters closed in, dozens at once. His blasts tore through three, then four—but five more replaced them.

"Helmet," Sam rasped. "Status!"

[Critical fatigue. Power levels 32%.]

He dove under a Leviathan, energy burning in his veins. His arms shook. His whole body ached from pushing past human limits.

Another fighter clipped his shoulder—Sam twisted, retaliated with a beam that carved it in half. His chest burned with exhaustion.

But Earth hung below him. His family, his friends, everyone he knew.

"Not quitting," Sam whispered, blood trickling from his nose. "Not now."

He surged back into the swarm.

---

EXT. CITY STREETS — IRON MAN

On Earth, Tony Stark turned the battlefield into a furnace.

His repulsors screamed, hammering venom-infested soldiers into sludge. Micro-missiles detonated in a storm, painting the night in fire.

HUD warnings blared: Core overheating. Power draw unsustainable.

Tony grit his teeth. "Shut up, Jarvis—I know."

He pushed harder, armor glowing from the strain. Down below, Natasha's voice cut in.

"Stark! You'll flatten civilians!"

"Evacuate them otherwise they will become bug-goo parade!" Tony growled, releasing another payload that shook an entire block.

Smoke and ash rained over him, but he didn't stop. Not until the street was clear. Not until his people were safe.

---

EXT. RUINS — OX GUARDIAN VS. LOKI

The ground split with each impact.

Chibi Ox Guardian swung his glowing chi hammer, smashing Loki back through crumbling walls. Venom dripped from Loki's arms, shaping into blades and spears, striking in flurries.

Ox blocked, hammered, pushed forward with unstoppable weight. "Enough illusions. Face me!"

He slammed Loki into a crater, cracking the earth. Loki's magic rebounded in sparks, but Ox stood unshaken.

For the first time, Loki's smile faltered. The God of Mischief was losing. Desperation twisted his grin.

---

EXT. STREETS — CAPTAIN AMERICA VS. THE HORDE

Steve Rogers fought like a storm.

Shield strikes crushed Chitauri skulls, his fists breaking venom-infused jaws. But sweat stung his eyes, and his breaths grew ragged. Every muscle screamed as his shield arm shook.

Around him, the Furious Four collapsed one by one—trapster downed, wizard out cold, klaw stunned, thundra unmoving. Yet dozens more Chitauri pressed in.

Steve staggered, knees buckling, but forced himself upright again. "You want them…" He glanced at the civilians huddled behind rubble. "…You'll have to go through me."

He was losing. But he would not stop.

---

EXT. SKY — THOR & HULK

Thunder split the heavens.

Thor hurled Mjolnir, lightning chaining across two Leviathans. Hulk roared, leaping onto another's back, tearing its horn clean off before slamming it through its skull.

But for every beast that fell, another emerged through the widening rift.

Thor snarled, lightning crackling over his armor. "Close the gate, Stark! Or Midgard will drown!"

---

EXT. STREETS — TIGER GUARDIAN & TEAM

Tiger Guardian landed hard beside Spider-Man, his tiny body glowing weakly. His time was almost gone.

"No time left," he said firmly. "Line them up."

Spider-Man blinked. "Uh—line them up like bowling pins?"

But Widow moved first, cracking her batons into Hurricane and dragging him into position. "You heard him."

White Tiger slashed Kraven across the chest, forcing him into the lineup. "Stay still, beast."

Spidey webbed Harry, grunting as venom fought back. "C'mon, slimeball junior, bedtime!"

Tiger crouched low before Otto, his claws glowing. "Clout!"

A shockwave exploded, launching all four villains ten blocks away in a single devastating blast.

Spider-Man's jaw dropped. "…Okay. New rule. Never piss off Tiny Stripes."

---

INT. S.H.I.E.L.D. HQ — THE COUNCIL

The Council's voices overlapped in panic. "Launch the nukes!" "Containment is impossible!"

An unknown agent launched the nukes

Two missiles streaked skyward.

Fury slammed commands, diverting one into the ocean. His eye hardened as the other blazed toward Manhattan.

"Stark," Fury growled into comms. "One inbound. Ten minutes."

Tony's voice crackled, sharp with tension. "Then we've got one shot."

---

EXT. PORTAL SKYLINE — SPIDER-MAN, OX & TONY

Tony soared, tracking the nuke. "Only option's to ram it back through the portal."

Spider-Man trys to hack the stabilizer, grunting. "C'mon, break already!" The otto's technology didn't budge. "Seriously? This thing's stronger than Hulk's Wi-Fi password!"

Chibi Ox landed, Loki's scepter glowing in his hands. "Try this."

Spidey jammed it in. Sparks flew. Nothing changed.

"Not working!" Spidey yelled.

Ox's small fists clenched. "Then time is almost gone."

---

EXT. SKY — CAT GUARDIAN & MAYURA

Cat Guardian's tiny form swayed, blood dripping from his mouth. His eyes locked on the nuke streaking downward.

"Mayura… take me there."

Mayura teleported in front of him then created a portal using horse miraculous . From the portal a missile was coming at supersonic speed but guardian raised his towards the missile and said

" Cataclysm!"

The missile disintegrated in black light. The force ripped through Cat's body, veins burning. He coughed blood, his frame convulsing, before collapsing in mayura's arms.

"I… I stopped it…" he whispered, fading.

---

EXT. STREETS — MOUSE MIRACULOUS TOLL

Adrian's chibi forms shattered, merging back into one. His knees hit the ground, sweat pouring down his face.

The Mouse Miraculous flickered and deactivated . Dragon, Ox, and Cat miraculous timed out. Only Tiger remained. Adrian's chest heaved—his body was at the edge of breaking.

Natalie appeared, panic in her eyes. "Adrian, stop! The strain is killing you!"

He looked at her with bloodshot eyes. "Not yet."

She pressed the Rooster into his hand. He activated it.

Power surged.

"Sublimation , power of instant recovery."

His body healed instantly—bones snapping back, skin knitting whole. But his face twisted. The pain of overuse, of burned nerves and torn muscles, still clung to him.

He stood, taller, steadier—but shaking inside.

---

EXT. CRATER — LOKI VS. CAPTAIN AMERICA

Loki rose from rubble, madness in his eyes. He spotted Steve Rogers—bleeding, panting, still standing guard over unconscious enemies.

"Pathetic mortals. Pathetic symbol."

He lunged.

Cap raised his shield. Their blades and shield clashed in a storm. Sparks flew as Steve blocked, countered, struck back. His movements slowed, his arms trembled, but he fought with every ounce of will.

Loki snarled, uru daggers whirling, venom slashing through the air. Cap blocked one, two—but the third slashed his side. He staggered, sweat and blood soaking his suit.

"Still… standing," Steve rasped. He swung again, shield smashing Loki's jaw.

Loki reeled—then roared, fury boiling. Magic flared through his veins as he slammed his daggers into Cap's shield. Cracks spread.

Steve pushed back, teeth gritted, legs shaking. The civilians behind him whispered, prayed.

"Not while they're here," Cap growled. "Not while I'm breathing."

Loki's roar shook the street. With one final strike, his magic shattered the shield in half. Vibranium shards scattered across the ground.

Steve fell to one knee, chest heaving. Loki grabbed him by the head, venom dripping.

"I'll drag your corpse through the streets," he snarled. "Let them watch their hope break."

He began dragging Cap toward Stark Tower, bloodlust burning in his eyes.
