A day and reboot later has passed and the sheriff yet again walks his usual beat. Smiling with a cheery yet sinister smile.
He looks about the town rather happy but bizarrely a itch crawls at the back of his eyes. A desire to kill that he can't seem to scratch.
("I want them dead...but why...why is my mind so foggy?") The sheriff thinks almost confused.
All the while three shadows loom over him. "Do we have to wait for him to go through his day before we can act?" [Lynx] he says while sneakily following the sheriff on the rooftops.
"Yes! Otherwise we will be stuck in the loop for another day." [Taliah] as she looks through her binoculars from the clock tower. ("His energy signature isn't that of a Gearsmith but there is something lingering from when he was...if only Alucard didn't kill him we wouldn't have this problem.") [Taliah] thinking about the day before.
Previous loop
Lynx and Taliah are looking at the body of the young man bound to the clock. "So why can't we just take him off?" [Lynx] as he makes his way over to the body.
"No don't!"[Alucard] shouting as he reaches out for Lynx. However the cogs just turned launching out a collection of electrical bolts at him.
Within the blink of an eye Lynx ignites his hands generating a flame barrier around him. The electrical discharge slams and wraps around the flames and disperses on the ground.
Lynx stunned but steps back a few times. "What was that?" [Lynx] he asks completely stunned. "That is what I was trying to warn you about, he can't be freed...not by us anyway." [Alucard] responding with a somber tone.
However his words was more intriguing to Taliah. "What do you mean by us?" [Taliah] she presses for information. "Well simply put the only time, I've ever seen someone get close was Alexander and luckily it was the good guy version of him but the closer he got the more the old version of him he became...I wasn't sure why but there has to be a reason..." [Alucard]
"He fears him and thinks he can't get away which is more than likely why he has power over him." [Taliah]. This confused Alucard "What do you mean? He thinks he can't get away, that is why the monster is the only one that can reach him." [Alucard] "Meaning the only way to free him is to make him look mortal." [Lynx] slamming his fist into his palm.
"What do you mean?" [Alucard] his eyes wrapped in confusion not exactly sure what they plan to do. "It means we need to show the kid that he isn't trapped here and that he is now free hopefully that allow him to end the loop." [Taliah] as she walks over to the victim.
"But by the time he arrives it is so close to the end of the time loop, we could never beat him in time." [Alucard] declaring with confusion. "Don't worry there is definitely a way around that....but he was a known Gearsmith. I wonder why he resets especially if we don't and the only difference between us and the rest of the people is being Gearsmiths." [Lynx] wondering as he paces.
Alucard however perked up "Oh I figured it's because I shot him so his mind resets because he desynced when he died but resynces slowly as the day goes by." [Alucard] this statement gets rather sore looks from the duo.
Alucard looks about, in confusion "Are you saying that the only reason he isn't a Gearsmith is because you shot him and needs time to recover." [Taliah] states with a quizzical look. Alucard raised his brow "Well yeah that's why I kept killing him." [Alucard] completely unaware of what he has done.
"That's the problem...he can't recognise the murderer as the sheriff so until the sheriff becomes the murderer and we beat him in front of the kid we will be stuck." [Taliah] "So that just means we need to make sure the old alexander is fully back so he doesn't reset." [Lynx] he says slamming his right hand into his left hand. "Yes and I think I know how best to do that." [Taliah] she says with a smirk which intrigues Alucard as he waits for them to explain the plan.
Current Loop
Alucard watches over the sheriff from within the shadows and his eyes locked in while his hand clutched his revolver on the hip. All the while Lynx watches from the other side town looking down as the sheriff walks and talks to those around him. He looks rather happy "Too bad this guy being good traps so many people in here, otherwise we could definitely have left him here keeping a murderer out of our reality." [Lynx] he says watching out as he continues to do food by the people around him.
"Do you think he would stay good or would his mind just heal, probably the more loops would happen, we could not risk that." [Taliah] catches Lynx's words explaining another possibility.
Lynx hopping about towards the clock tower and sighs realising the truth. "Yeah unfortunately so we just got to take him down and hopefully free everyone." [Lynx] he lands close to the tower. "Alright his close enough, so I think it's about." [Taliah] she says with a smirk.
Lynx returns that smirk "Alright!" [Lynx] he shouts generating and tossing a fire ball at the upper level of the tower. The tower ignites with a massive blaze.
The sheriff along with the town looks about in shock. The sheriff jumping on instinct shouts out "Everyone back away from the tower!" [Alexander] getting everyone to run away from the clock tower.
Alucard in the mean time arrives by Taliah near the blaze. "So what now?" [Alucard] he asks. "Simple. Help! Help!" [Taliah] she shouts while fidling with the ear piece almost projecting her voice through the crowd.
The shout catches the attention of the sheriff. "Someone's trapped up there!" [Alexander] he shouts as he runs through the crowd towards the tower. Lynx keeps an eye out for him "Looks like his heading up..." [Lynx] he then notices a few deputies following behind.
"But it seems his gonna get back up...or atleast that's what they think." [Lynx] He generates a small blaze on his hand but waits a little. Right up until the Sheriff makes his way inside the tower.
"Alright. now." [Lynx] he says with a smirk as he sends out a blaze towards the entrance of the clock tower. The deputies are held back by the blaze. "What in the...?" "Where did this come from?" The deputies wonder as the fire almost pushes them away.
The Sheriff now trapped in the tower looks back. "Where did that come from?" He asks turning to face the flames. However before he could move he heard the screams again. He stops. Something is calling him to the top of the tower, something different from the voice.
He turns back to the stairs "Everyone! Find a way into the tower I will save whoever is in here." He says with a almost heroic tone but his face showed something sinister. His anger and bloodlust grows as he rushes towards the stairs.
Taliah and Alucard enter the tower. "He will be here soon, we will keep Lynx outside for now monitoring the fire both on the ground and here." [Taliah] she declares as she makes her way over to a crate near where the young man is trapped. She takes her seat while Alucard draws and spins his revolver, standing next to her.
"Now come at us Mr.Ripper, so we can head home." [Taliah] gritting her teeth in a half smile as Alexander Wolf slowly makes his way up the stairs, the sync of a Gearsmith with his Fear growing stronger.
