Naruto and Sasuke stood up, feeling a mix of excitement and anticipation. They were ready to embark on this new chapter of their lives at Hope's Peak Academy.
With newfound determination, Naruto and Sasuke followed Tengan, ready to embrace this temporary living arrangement and the adventures that awaited them. They were prepared to seize every opportunity that came their way at Hope's Peak Academy, knowing that it was just the beginning of their epic journey.
As they exited Jin's office, Koichi called out to them. "Hey, brats! Welcome to the academy. Just remember, don't underestimate the power of an Ultimate!"
Naruto and Sasuke exchanged a look, determination burning in their eyes. They were ready to prove themselves and discover the true potential within them as they ventured into the world of Hope's Peak Academy.
After their long journey, Naruto and Sasuke watched as the car pulled up to a grand-looking house in the suburbs. They didn't respond and instead got out of the car with Jin Tengan doing the same. Naruto gave the odd-looking machine a sour look, while Sasuke studied and tried to understand it. It wasn't that they didn't like riding in the vehicle, but they could probably run faster. Not to mention, staying seated in one place for so long just wasn't for them. However, they knew they should probably get used to it if "Hope's Peak Academy" was anything like they were told.
Naruto looked at the house, which was just as big as his apartment complex back in Konoha, maybe a little smaller. But still, who needed this much space? Sasuke, on the other hand, looked at the house and it reminded him of his former home, "The Uchiha District," where he and his clan lived, especially his parents and his beloved older brother, Itachi. Tears threatened to fall from Sasuke's eyes as he remembered the sad memories. He looked aside, not letting Tengan Jin and Naruto see him in tears, but he managed to stop them before they fell.
Naruto observed the house with amazement. "Wow, this is your house, old man gramp's..." he said.
Tengan chuckled when he noticed Naruto's expression. "Big, right?"
Naruto nodded. "Yeah... No offense, old man, but I think it's a waste of space for the both of us."
Sasuke smacked Naruto on the back of his head for his rude comment.
"What was that for, you bastard?" Naruto said angrily to Sasuke.
"You should be grateful that this guy offered his house to us, and yet you're here complaining, you idiot," Sasuke corrected him.
Tengan and Jin laughed at the two teens. They didn't look like brothers, but their bond was like a typical brotherly relationship.
"You're right about that. But, and I don't mean to brag, I have more money than I know what to do with, so I may have gone a bit overboard with my spending," Tengan admitted, while Jin chuckled at his comments.
"This is where we part ways," Jin spoke, pointing in the opposite direction. "My house is in the opposite direction, and it's not as big."
"Are you not going to go inside and have a coffee?" Tengan said to Jin.
"Wait, are you not going to join us?" Naruto asked Jin.
"Sorry, I can't. I still need to finish some paperwork back home," Jin explained, trying to make Tengan understand.
"Alright then, just don't overdo it, okay?" Tengan said to Jin, smiling.
"Oh, I see," Naruto said with a hint of sadness, while Sasuke remained silent.
"Don't worry about him. He's a busy man after all," Tengan reassured Naruto, placing his hand on Naruto's shoulder.
They watched Jin walk to his car and drive away. With a sigh, Tengan glanced at the two boys who were looking at his house with amazement.
Sasuke remained silent, feeling a sense of relief as Jin left. He was glad that Jin had stopped asking them too many questions. It gave him a moment of peace and allowed him to collect his thoughts.
"Come now, we better get inside. It's almost night now," Tengan said, leading the way to the door of his house.
Sasuke nodded in agreement and walked beside Tengan.
Naruto, caught up in his curiosity, didn't even realize that it was already midnight. He was so captivated by everything around him that he forgot about the passing of time. He also joined Tengan and Sasuke in heading towards the house.
As they followed Tengan, Naruto and Sasuke couldn't help but take in the surroundings. The driveway was quite long, leading up to the impressive property, and there was a tall fence that provided a sense of security and privacy. Naruto found it a bit unwelcoming, but Sasuke appreciated the nice appearance of the house. Its aura reminded him of his former home in Konoha. Perhaps that was the intention.
"I don't spend much time here," Tengan told them as the three stepped inside the house. The living room was spacious and well-decorated, but it lacked a personal touch. It felt more like something out of a magazine.
"We're going to be staying here?" Naruto exclaimed, still in awe of the size of the house. Sasuke, however, remained silent, not wanting to show any interest at all.
"Yes, for now. But when everything is ready, you two will stay in the dorms of the school," Tengan said to the boys.
"Ah... Okay, so it's only temporary," Naruto said to Tengan.
"Yes, that's correct," Tengan replied to the blonde boy.
As they walked down the long hallway, they saw three rooms. Tengan led them to one of the rooms and opened the door.
"Wow, this room is so clean," Naruto said with an awed reaction. Sasuke also felt amazed by how clean the room was.
Tengan chuckled and spoke, "I'm glad you like it," he said to them.
"I want this room," Naruto said with a big smile on his face.
Tengan chuckled again and said, "Sure, why not," he replied to the blonde boy.
Sasuke frowned at Naruto for even daring to say that he wanted this room. But then he realized that there was also another room next door.
Sasuke glanced at the room next door, contemplating his options. He knew Naruto had a habit of impulsively claiming things for himself without considering others. But perhaps this was an opportunity for him to make a decision of his own.
Without saying a word, Sasuke walked towards the adjacent room and opened the door. To his surprise, the room was just as clean and inviting as the previous one. It had a slightly different layout, but the same comforting atmosphere.
A small smile tugged at the corner of Sasuke's lips as he turned back to Tengan and Naruto. "I'll take this room," he stated calmly, causing Naruto to blink in surprise.
"You mean you don't want the first room?" Naruto asked, his enthusiasm tempered by confusion.
Sasuke nodded, his eyes meeting Tengan's. "It's nice, but I think this one suits me better," he replied, a hint of determination in his voice. "And besides, you like this room more, don't you?"
Tengan nodded approvingly. "As long as you're both happy with your choices, that's what matters," he said, his tone warm and encouraging.
Naruto shrugged and grinned. "Hey, as long as we're here together, any room will do!"
Sasuke couldn't help but smile in return. Maybe this unexpected twist of fate was an opportunity for them to grow closer, to navigate the challenges that awaited them as best friends. Or at least that's what Naruto thought.
"But what about the other room?" Naruto asked, turning to Tengan.
"Oh, that one... That's my room," Tengan said to the two boys.
With their rooms sorted and their excitement building, Naruto and Sasuke couldn't wait to begin their new chapter at the school. Little did they know, this decision would mark the start of a grand adventure that would shape their destinies.
Tengan chuckled. "You boys mentioned that you're not from around here. I'm not sure how you've managed to get by up until now, but since we're having you stay in one place, I figured it was the least I could do."
Naruto and Sasuke felt flattered by Tengan's gesture. Naruto would have been fine staying in the dorms like most students, but then Tengan went above and beyond by offering them this house.
"Hmph... Don't tell me you're not interested in staying in this house. If you're not interested, then find somewhere else to sleep," Sasuke sarcastically retorted.
"Oohh... Shut up, bastard," Naruto responded, angry at Sasuke's rude comment.
Naruto was seething with anger towards Sasuke. He wanted nothing more than to punch him in the face for being such an asshole. However, he knew it would only escalate the situation. They were here to resolve the feud between brothers, after all.
Tengan laughed at the two, observing their bickering. "You two are like cats and dogs." He thought to himself.
"Come now, I need to familiarize you two with this house," Tengan said to the boys.
Naruto and Sasuke exchanged glances, understanding the importance of Tengan's request. They nodded in response, silently acknowledging their responsibility to assist in their own familiarization with the house.
Following Tengan's lead, Naruto and Sasuke made their way to the living room. As they stepped inside, they were struck with awe by the warm and inviting ambiance. The room was filled with plush sofas, a sprawling widescreen TV, and shelves lined with books and cherished keepsakes. Naruto and Sasuke couldn't help but feel drawn to the expansive space before them.
Tengan then began explaining the various features of the living room, pointing out the different entertainment systems and items that adorned the space. Naruto and Sasuke attentively tuned in, their eyes scanning the room to absorb every detail he pointed out. They soon discovered that the living room boasted cutting-edge technology, including a state-of-the-art sound system, an extensive collection of Blu-ray discs, and even a gaming console. And right in front of them, they couldn't miss the colossal widescreen TV that displayed their reflections. Intrigued, they approached this "strange contraption," utterly amazed by its presence.
"Wait, old gramp's, what the hell is this huge squared thing right in front of us?" Naruto asked awkwardly, scratching his head.
"Oh, this? This is a TV, my boy, a television," Tengan explained, pointing at the large screen.
"TV, Television... What the hell is a TV and Television?" Naruto asked, clearly confused.
Sasuke raised an eyebrow at this. So, this is the name of this weird thing, he thought to himself.
"A TV is short for television, my boy," Tengan clarified.
"Ahh... Okay, so that's what it's called," Naruto thought to himself.
Naruto didn't intend to lie. He hated lying. But he knew that this was the only way for them to hide their true identities. Sasuke, on the other hand, had no issue with lying if it meant protecting their identities.
Tengan couldn't help but find it amusing that Naruto seemed completely unfamiliar with the concept of a TV. He wondered if Sasuke was in the same boat.
Sasuke remained silent, trying to absorb all the information about this "strange device" called a television.
"You mean to tell me you've never seen a TV before?" Tengan asked.
"Yeah, we don't have this type of technology in our village," Sasuke explained, trying to help Tengan understand.
Tengan chuckled at the blonde boy's words. He didn't expect that the two boys would be so unfamiliar with a TV. He decided to take this opportunity to teach them about it.
Sasuke, however, stayed quiet and crossed his arms. He didn't want to appear too interested in this "object" in front of them, but deep down, he couldn't help but be curious.
Naruto, being his usual curious self, wanted to touch the strange device, but Sasuke quickly smacked him on the head.
"What the hell did you do that for, you bastard?" Naruto exclaimed angrily.
"Didn't I tell you not to touch random things, you moron?" Sasuke replied, annoyance evident in his voice.
"Yeah, like you even care if I want to touch something or not, bastard?" Naruto retorted, his anger rising.
"Yes, I do care, moron, because I don't want us to get into trouble again because of your stupidity," Sasuke mockingly responded.
"Ohhh... Fuck off, Sasuke!!!" Naruto yelled in frustration.
Tengan chuckled once more at the two and spoke, "If you're that curious, both of you can watch it together." He turned on the TV in front of them.
"Wow, what is this? There's a person inside this thing? Amazing!!!" Naruto exclaimed, his eyes widening in amazement.
Sasuke remained silent, just staring at the TV with his usual stoic expression. But deep down, he couldn't deny that he was also impressed by it, just like Naruto.
"This right here is called a channel. What you saw just now on the TV screen is a channel," Tengan explained, pointing out the meaning of channels to them.
Naruto, once again, was amazed by what he was experiencing. The remote control was a strange device that could change the channels and adjust the volume of the TV. He couldn't believe the power it had.
Sasuke, too, was amazed by the remote control. He observed it closely, realizing how it could effortlessly change channels and control the sound of the TV with a single click.
Tengan then handed the remote control to both Naruto and Sasuke, instructing them to go watch TV. Excitedly, Naruto took hold of the remote, and both boys settled down on the sofa to enjoy their show.
As Naruto sat on the sofa, he couldn't help but notice how comfortable it was. It provided a sense of relaxation, and he couldn't resist lying down on it, similar to how someone would after a long day at work.
"This is so relaxing, don't you think, Sasuke?" Naruto asked, turning to Sasuke who was sitting next to him.
Sasuke, maintaining his stoic demeanor, couldn't deny the truth in Naruto's words. "Hmph... Even though I hate to admit it, you're right. This sofa is indeed very comfortable," he replied, folding his arms.
Naruto chuckled, knowing that Sasuke was trying to act cool. Deep down, he knew Sasuke was just as interested and intrigued as he was.
"Why are you laughing, you loser?" Sasuke asked, annoyed by Naruto's amusement.
"Oh, it's nothing. I just find it amusing how you're pretending not to be interested in everything. But I know you're just as curious as I am, you bastard," Naruto retorted with a smirk.
Sasuke scoffed. "Hmph... Whatever, you loser." He decided not to argue further with Naruto and redirected his attention to the television.
Time passed, and an hour later, Sasuke stood up, informing Naruto that he was going to find a bathroom.
"Hey, where are you going?" Naruto asked, confused by Sasuke's sudden departure.
"I'm going to the bathroom. Why?" Sasuke replied coldly.
"Oh, nothing. I was just curious. Good luck finding one," Naruto said, giving Sasuke a thumbs-up.
Sasuke didn't react to Naruto's gesture and continued his search for the bathroom, leaving the living room behind.
As Sasuke explored the house, he found himself in the kitchen. He was amazed by the size of the kitchen, with its marble foundation. Beside the kitchen, there was a spacious dining room, and adjacent to the living room was a study room. A guest bathroom was conveniently located near the kitchen, along with a laundry room for their use. Beyond the kitchen, a hallway led to the bedrooms. There were a total of three rooms, one belonging to Tengan, and the other two had been given to them by Tengan earlier.
"Damn, this house is huge," Sasuke thought to himself as he took in the grandeur. He proceeded to the bathroom next to the kitchen.
Inside the bathroom, Sasuke caught his reflection in the mirror, his eyes cold and determined. He activated his Sharingan, gazing at himself. He then attempted to awaken his Mangekyou, but he felt a sharp pain in his head.
"Damn it, it seems like the Sage of Six Paths wasn't joking when he said he would seal our powers," Sasuke thought, frustrated with his limitations. He also tried to activate his curse mark but could only access the first stage, unable to progress further.
Frustrated by his lack of progress with his powers, Sasuke stared at his reflection in the mirror. He knew that the Sage of Six Paths had sealed away his true potential, preventing him from reaching the full extent of his abilities.
Determined to overcome this setback, Sasuke took a deep breath and tried to calm his mind. He knew that getting angry or impatient wouldn't solve anything. He had to think of a new strategy to regain his powers.
As he stood in front of the mirror, Sasuke recalled the lessons taught by his mentor, Kakashi. He remembered how Kakashi had emphasized the importance of control and focus when it came to his Sharingan abilities. With this in mind, Sasuke decided to take a different approach.
Closing his eyes, Sasuke concentrated on his chakra, allowing it to flow steadily throughout his body. He focused on the sensations and energy coursing through him, grounding himself in the present moment.
Taking a slow, deep breath, Sasuke opened his eyes, revealing his Sharingan once again. This time, he didn't try to push it to its limits or force his Mangekyou to awaken. Instead, he embraced the newfound clarity and control he had discovered.
With careful precision, Sasuke began to manipulate his Sharingan. He started by adjusting the focus and enhancing his perception of the environment around him. Every detail became sharper and more vivid, allowing him to see with incredible clarity.
Encouraged by his progress, Sasuke decided to explore further. He delved into the depths of his chakra, seeking a connection to the power that lay dormant within him. As he did so, a familiar tingling sensation traveled up his arm, signaling the activation of his Curse Mark.
However, Sasuke still found himself unable to fully access the second stage of the Curse Mark. Determined not to be discouraged, he continued to refine his control over his chakra, experimenting and pushing the boundaries of his abilities.
With a deep sigh, Sasuke exited the bathroom and made his way back to the living room where Naruto was watching TV alone. Naruto thought to himself, "We will be having this whole place to ourselves. That's kinda strange, isn't it?" as he changed another channel, still in disbelief about the existence of television. Suddenly, he heard footsteps approaching him.
Tengan had finished preparing their rooms and walked back into the living room, food in hand.
Naruto's stomach growled, indicating his hunger. "Ahhh man, looks like I'm hungry now, huh," he said, holding his stomach. He spotted Tengan approaching him and greeted the old man, saying, "Hey, what's up, Gramps?"
Tengan noticed that Sasuke was missing and wondered, "Where did that other boy go to?" He asked Naruto, "Where did your dark-haired friend go?"
"He just went to find the bathroom to pee," Naruto replied to the old man.
"I see. Aren't you hungry, kid?" Tengan asked, trying to offer some food to Naruto.
"Yeah, I am. Do you have some ramen?" Naruto asked Tengan.
"Oh, you like ramen? I have some if you want," Tengan said, offering the blonde boy some ramen.
"Okay, stay there for a moment, okay. I'll give you some ramen," Tengan said before heading back to the kitchen. And walked back into the living room, with two ramen cups, one for Naruto and one for Sasuke. He handed Naruto the cup of ramen and an electric boiling stainless dispenser.
"Thanks, Gramps. Wait, why are there two of them?" Naruto asked Tengan.
"The other one is for your friend," Tengan explained to Naruto.
"Ah, okay... Thank you, by the way," Naruto said, smiling at Tengan. He opened the ramen cup, poured it into a bowl, added hot water with the dispenser, and mixed the ramen. He was very happy because he loved ramen.
"No problem," Tengan said with a small smile at Naruto.
"That's kinda strange, isn't it?" Naruto finally said while eating one of the noodles of the ramen. He was grateful for it. It was delicious, the most delicious ramen he had ever tasted. "Aren't you supposed to be watching us?"
"Hmm? Is there a double meaning in there somewhere?" Tengan asked Naruto, raising an eyebrow.
Naruto thought to himself, "So this old man was sharp, huh?" He looked at Tengan, their gazes locking. "You're keeping us close because you don't trust us," Naruto said, his words confident.
Tengan chuckled and clasped his hands behind his back. "This kid's observation is good, but not as good as his friend's," he thought to himself. Aloud, he said, "Despite your skills, you're not a very good liar. Unlike your dark-haired friend, your eyes betray you. The headmaster has noticed this as well. You two weren't telling the truth, were you?"
Naruto paused eating for a moment and glanced at Tengan, but before he could respond, Tengan raised his hand. "Don't bother. I can tell that you two don't mean any harm. That's why I had no problems with letting you boys join Hope's Peak Academy, despite your questionable background," Tengan said, referring to their practically non-existent background.
Tengan continued, "But I will admit that I am quite intrigued by you boys. I doubt you'd be forthcoming if I asked you now, and you'd probably vanish without a trace if I pushed the two of you too hard. This arrangement will benefit us both greatly. It will give me plenty of time to unravel all of you and your dark-haired friend's secrets," he said, focusing his attention on Naruto.
Naruto didn't know what to say to this. He hadn't expected the man to be so truthful with him.
"Now that you've told me this, you know we're going to be on our guard, right? Hell, we can walk out the front door right now, old man," Naruto said confidently.
Tengan didn't believe this, though. "I highly doubt that. The fact that you boys accepted our offer to join the school shows that there's something you need there. That's why I'm sure you boys will be sticking around for some time, at least until you two have found whatever it is you're looking for."
Interrupting their conversation, Tengan handed something to Naruto. Naruto's eyes lit up in recognition. It was their weapons.
"This is...! His kunai pouch and Sasuke's Chokutō," Naruto thought as he caught their weapons.
"That's the only thing you boys have on you, right? Besides your clothes, I mean," Tengan asked, tilting his head to the side. "It took us a lot to convince the station to give those.
"This is...! His kunai pouch. And also Sasuke's Chokutō," Naruto thought as he caught their weapons.
"That's the only thing you boys have on you, right? Besides your clothes, I mean," Tengan asked, tilting his head to the side. "It took us a lot to convince the station to give those back to both of you. But there you go."
Naruto tightly gripped the kunai pouch. It wasn't much, but other than his headband, this was all he had to remind him of his home. It had become a special treasure to him.
Tengan observed as Naruto's mood turned somber, finding it quite interesting.
"You should get some rest, my boy," Tengan advised as he exited the living room and headed to his room to sleep. "After all, tomorrow is going to be a very hectic day for the both of you. I have already shown you to your rooms, so if you want to sleep now, just go to your rooms. We will go shopping tomorrow for your clothes," he informed the blonde boy.
"It's okay. I'm not that tired yet. I'll sleep soon when I'm ready," Naruto replied, expressing his gratitude for Tengan's concern.
"Okay. If you need something, you know where to find me," Tengan said before leaving the blonde boy.
Naruto placed the pouch on the sofa and watched as Tengan walked away, wondering what all of this could possibly mean.
Sasuke stood outside the living room, having overheard the conversation between Naruto and Tengan. He couldn't fully trust the man, despite the fact that he had provided them with a place to stay. He remained cautious and alert, not willing to let his guard down around Tengan.
Sasuke couldn't help but smirk at Naruto's comment to Tengan. He knew Naruto could act foolish at times, but he also recognized that his friend had a sharp wit. He appreciated the way Naruto could speak up when necessary.
Just as Sasuke was lost in his thoughts, Tengan approached him, catching his attention. "Oh, there you are. It's about time you showed up," Tengan said to the dark-haired boy.
Sasuke's expression turned cold, and he raised an eyebrow. "What the hell do you want?" he questioned, a frown etching across his face.
Tengan seemed unfazed by Sasuke's demeanor. "I just wanted to warn you that I gave your weapons back," he informed Sasuke, his voice calm.
Sasuke nodded in acknowledgment. "I see. Thank you for that," he replied, his stoic face revealing little emotion.
With that, Tengan turned around and walked away from Sasuke. "If you need something, you know where to find me," he called back, disappearing from sight. Sasuke watched his retreating form, still maintaining his frown.
Feeling the need to address the lingering thoughts in his mind, Sasuke made his way into the living room to confront Naruto. He wanted to discuss the situation further, to understand Naruto's perspective and exchange their thoughts on Tengan's actions.
Naruto sat on the sofa, enjoying a cup of ramen while watching TV. Suddenly, he sensed Sasuke approaching and turned around to greet him.
"Oh, hi Sasuke. What took you so long?" Naruto said, happy to see his friend.
"S-Sorry about that, Naruto. I was just... taking my time in the bathroom," Sasuke replied, a slight smirk on his face.
Naruto gave him a smug smile. "Oh, really? 'Taking your time' huh, Sasuke?"
Sasuke sensed Naruto's teasing tone and facepalmed in response. "What do you mean by 'taking my time' huh, loser?" Sasuke countered, his expression stoic.
"Nah, you know what I mean, pal," Naruto continued to tease, smirking at Sasuke.
Annoyed, Sasuke didn't want to prolong this conversation. He wanted to get straight to the point. "I don't care what you mean. Just tell me what happened here," he said, growing more impatient with Naruto.
Naruto paused for a moment, contemplating whether to tell Sasuke about his conversation with Tengan. But he knew lying wouldn't help, and he hoped Sasuke wouldn't be able to see through his words.
"Oh, it's nothing important. We just had a little talk, that's all," Naruto replied with an awkward smile.
Sasuke saw through Naruto's attempt to hide something from him. "Don't bother lying to me, Naruto. I can tell when someone is lying, and you're terrible at it," he said bluntly.
Naruto mentally chastised himself for not realizing that honesty would have been the better option. "Sorry about that. I lied because I thought you might react badly," Naruto admitted, scratching his head.
"What makes you think that?" Sasuke questioned.
"Ah, never mind. I sensed your chakra outside the living room. I knew you were listening," Naruto confessed, his tone deadpan.
"So, I was right then," Sasuke acknowledged, confirming Naruto's suspicions.
"Yeah, no doubt," Naruto replied.
By the way, Naruto, what you said to Tengan earlier was impressive. I never thought you could be smart about something," Sasuke complimented, a smirk on his face.
"Huh... Which part?" Naruto asked, confused.
"The part where you mentioned being on guard and willing to go outside," Sasuke clarified, still smirking.
"Oh, that... Yeah, I did say that," Naruto said, scratching his head sheepishly.
As they continued their conversation, Naruto suddenly threw Sasuke's sword at him, making Sasuke swiftly catch it.
"Also, gramps returned our weapons to us," Naruto informed Sasuke.
Sasuke briefly looked at his sword, feeling a sense of familiarity and comfort. He sheathed his sword and nodded in acknowledgement. "I see. Thanks for letting me know," he said.
Naruto then decided to shut off the TV, signaling that it was time for them to go to sleep. He checked the clock and realized it was almost 9 o'clock.
"It's getting late. We should go to sleep now," Naruto stated, looking at Sasuke, who agreed with a nod.
Naruto stood up from the sofa and grabbed his weapon pouch. Sasuke followed suit, walking alongside Naruto as they made their way down the hallway together. Naruto on Sasuke's left side and Sasuke on Naruto's right, their friendship evident in their easy companionship.
The rooms they had were positioned directly across from each other. However, before they could exchange their usual goodnight wishes, Naruto spoke up with a hint of awkwardness, scratching his head.
"Ahh well, I guess this is goodnight then," Naruto said, his face reflecting his uneasiness.
Sasuke turned to face the door of his room, a smile gracing his lips. "You too," he replied, his voice warm.
Naruto noticed the smile and mirrored it, returning Sasuke's sentiment. "Yeah, have a good sleep," he responded before turning to his own room and opening the door. Sasuke followed suit, entering his own room.
Naruto stood inside his room, taking a moment to look around. It still felt spacious to him, but he knew it was nothing compared to the vastness of some of the other apartments in Konoha. Shrugging off the thought, he made his way to his bed and settled down, ready to drift off to sleep. Tomorrow would bring new challenges and adventures.
Sasuke, on the other hand, walked towards his bed and sat down. He carefully removed his sword from his waist, setting it on the floor next to him. With a sense of indifference towards the room's size, he took off his wrist brace and set it aside, making himself comfortable. Unlike Naruto, Sasuke didn't feel the need to complain about every little thing. He was grateful to have a place to sleep, and that was enough for him.
With Naruto and Sasuke settled in their respective rooms, each with their own thoughts, they embraced the quiet and prepared to rest. The comfort of a home, no matter how big or small, was enough to provide them with a sense of peace as they drifted off into a well-deserved sleep.
To be continued.
