"Firstly," the woman continued, arching a drowsy Kevin onto the outline of the roof, "My name is Lady Daria, one of the former Dreamalian royals!" she introduced, catching Kevin's attention with the mention of Dreamalia. She slowly examined his face once again, her eyes spiking open after noticing who she was actually speaking to. "I've seen you in the Dreamalian paper!" she declared, her jaw dropping in awe. "You're Kevin of Team ENTITY - but why are you here in a city like this?"
Kevin blinked twice, followed by a loud yawn. "Dreamalia…" he repeated. "I could ask you the same question."
Daria rolled her eyes, picking up her umbrella and facing the city with remorse in her eyes. "After I heard what happened between the Princess and LUO, I no longer wanted to be Lady Daria of Dreamalia, and so I now reside in Noosa City," she told him. "First thing I have to ask, have you seen a glimpse of Princess Layla's power?" Kevin slowly shook his head. "The two times I saw her, the World Summit and ART, she never showed anyone her power. Do you know anything about it?"
Daria plopped back down onto the ground, lightly setting down her umbrella. "Princess Layla has the power to control and view dreams of anyone she touches. "After Itsura's defeat and their return from the LUO base that someone had infiltrated, I managed to give her a piece of my mind before I officially left Dreamalia."
Volume 13, Chapter 4 - Dreams Will Become Nightmares
About a month ago, Dreamalian Palace
Lady Daria continued to walk up the colorful stairs leading to Princess Layla's office, glancing at the diverse glass panels that made up the entire hallway around her. "This room's beauty just never seems to get old," she thought, stopping to admire the glass panels that reflected her face in a way that seemed rather funny to her. She turned back towards the doors, sprinting right to the both of them and bursting them open with all her strength, noticing Princess Layla on the floor standing beside Notch and a few LUO representatives that circled around her. They arched their heads up right towards Daria, following a five second wave of silence. "What the hell is going on here!?" Lady Daria screamed, noticing Layla's blood and tears scattered across the circle. "What do you think you're doing to the princess!?"
Due to her shock, her vision worsened with every growing second, and Princess Layla's office was just a fever dream in her eyes. Without any second thought, she charged right towards the circle, but was stopped by Notch within seconds. "If you take one more step," he said, "I'll have complete authority to kill you." Daria seemed to snap back to reality after hearing the threat, and everyone in the room noticed as the vibe of the room slowly changed along with her shock. "We have completely submitted to LUO," Layla told her. "I have no choice but to listen to their every command, or face death."
The representatives of LUO noticed her growing shock, her urge to run towards Princess Layla growing by the second. "You have to move!" she said to herself, slowly moving her hands straight towards her head. "I-I can't go up against an entire government, but I can try to save the princess while I'm still in this room!"
She lunged past Notch's hands straight to the circle, grasping the heads of two of the LUO representatives and transmitting the drowsy feeling to the both of them. Her rampage was stopped by Notch, who slashed her right in the chest with his sword. "I already warned you, now you face the consequences," he said, watching as Daria's body slammed against the floor. The princess emerged from the floor with her bloody hands, now wearing a red, bloodstained dress. "Lady Daria…" she said obediently, standing beside two other LUO representatives. "Now that you have seen this form, you are no longer obligated to leave this palace alive." Daria's eyes widened yet again, but despite her wound, she bolted back on her feet and sprinted towards the door. "I'M NOT GOING TO LET YOU KILL ME!" she screamed, noticing that Notch was attempting to sneak up on her again and slamming him into the floor by grasping both of his swords. "Dreams will become nightmares, and everyone in this country will witness the night this very world bows down to the power of LUO."
About a second later, a red aura covered both Princess Layla and Notch, causing their power to violently destroy the room. "You will be the first victim!" Layla said, teleporting right in front of Daria and holding her hand out to grasp her head entirely. "All you have to do is relax."
Daria's left hand slowly turned blue, uppercutting Princess Layla right before she was able to touch her. "I may not have the Umbrella Of Dreams, but I still can fight with my fists!" she exclaimed, turning her head back to Notch and the LUO representatives, who were obviously not going to join the fight between the three of them. "If you're going to submit without fighting, I have no place here in the Dreamalian Royal Family!" Layla jerked her body back up, trying to intercept Daria just before she went flying out of the palace. "Submit to the fate of eternal nightmares!" both her and Notch said, coming at her from opposite directions with their hands reaching right towards her. Daria lifted both of her legs, pressing off of their bodies with both of her feet and breaking right through the ceiling. "I WON'T LET DREAMALIA BECOME CORRUPT!" she screamed to them before she slowly disappeared into the clouds.
Now soaring in the sky, Daria looked back down at her hometown. "I'm going to make sure this country doesn't fall into the hands of LUO!" she assured herself, rushing back into the Winding Forest.
That was the day Lady Daria had resigned from the Dreamalian Royal Family.
