Farosa felt an irrational weight enveloping her, nearly crushing her.

The space itself was as dark as night, with no light source, only a hazy expanse as far as her eyes could see. She couldn't trust her vision now; how much could a pixel see?

Every now and then, colored streaks of light flashed by, momentarily, leaving a scorching imprint on her optic organ. She knew she was right—no one else could withstand it.

This space didn't quite resemble a real place; it was more like a vast sea of consciousness, containing ancient and powerful awareness, boundless. The laws of low-dimensional physics seemed inapplicable here.

On her original planet, Farosa could be considered a god, yet to the Galaxy's Envoy on The Other Shore, she appeared like an insect.
