Susu... perhaps it's the distortion of the divine duties of Fate; in Malin's view, her memory is sometimes good and sometimes bad. Malin doesn't know why, and now can only hope that one day she won't forget him and herself.
Stepping out of the teleportation channel, Malin pulled a cigarette from the box and lit it for himself. The frontlines of the Eastern Kingdom were filled with smoke; this small town was littered with wounded soldiers. Some were receiving emergency aid, others lay on stretchers writhing in pain, and yet others... had silently left this world.
These soldiers didn't recognize Malin. Among them, a military doctor yelled at the gendarmerie because of Malin's appearance, for a small child only brings trouble or creates trouble.
You see, two words explain all the troubles in the world.
Malin could only ask the approaching gendarmes where they were from.
The gendarmes ignored Malin's question and instead asked who Malin was, and where this child came from.
