[Amil's POV]
I had made it to the Mondstat, the city blessed by the Anemo Archon, and projects the theme of Freedom. Most other countries look down on this place as, to them, they believed that their Archon has abandoned them. Therefore, they could be considered as a weak city. However, I believe that it's because this city has their theme as "freedom," I find this place the most habitable for newcomers, aka, me.
The warmth that I feel from them is substantial, and I also feel as though that I could live quietly here for as long as I want to.
*Rooooooaaaaarrrrr*
*Sigh* Of course it couldn't be that simple. At least, not with a flying angry dragon looming around, threatening to thrash this entire civilization and send it all the way back to the Stone Age.
I look up once more to see that same turquoise dragon flying around, those purple eyes and spikes still present. Then, I hear another voice behind me.
"Uh-oh, here he comes again."
I turn around to see 2 new humans and….a floating fairy? One had on an adventure-like outfit that was mostly red in color with a few areas that were white and brown whilst having a particular crest on her stomach. She had on her head with a ribbon tied in a way that makes it look like she has rabbit ears, along with another ribbon near her waist and attached to a red jewel like item. I believe that Cicin mage called those 'Visions.'
The next individual was small in stature, yet is somehow able to defy her center of gravity and remain afloat. Her outfit mostly consisted of white, with peach like grieves on her person with a short cloak behind her that, when looking at it, one would picture a stary night sky and a crown that….somehow also stays afloat. I mean, it's not really resting on her head from where I can see.
Then finally, the last one who, in my opinion, has the most exotic clothing I've ever seen. Main color is obviously white, with some blue and gold accented. Bright blond hair that's topped off with a white and blue flower.
All 3 of them look pn with worry as the dragon keeps looming over.
"Uhh, shouldn't we do something against that dragon?" the small fairy squeaked.
"Leave this to the Knights of Favonius" responded the red girl.
Ah yes, the Knights of Favonius are another thing the Cicin Mage informed my about. An organization of knights who protect this place from harm. Although I wouldn't want to doubt their expertise, something tells me that a rampaging dragon is definitely out of their pay grade. Besides, only a handful of them are actually 'Vision Wielders,' who could potentially stand a chance against the dragon. All of the rest are just your everyday humans with no elemental prowess whatsoever.
(A/N: Ladies and gentlemen, this is one of the parts where I veer off the canon route a bit. You have been warned)
Just then, a sudden gust of wind from 2 massive tornadoes that were pitch-black, made itself known to us. The red ribbon girl was able to move out of the way just in time and so did the floating fairy. The blonde and I on the other hand, were not as fortunate.
As we got swept up in the current of wind, the blonde produced wings from her back and attempted to regain her equilibrium. I didn't have such a mechanism, however, I could slowly lower myself to ground level with a subtle gust of Anemo power.
Well, that was the plan at least. Although we were in the air, we did not fall down. Quite the opposite, we, in fact, continued to rise. This continued until we were squared up against the dragon face to face.
Needless to say, the dragon was not pleased to see us and prepared to attack. Just as I was about to defend both of us from the attack, I hear a voice in the wind.
"Don't worry. I'll guide your path in the air. You 2 must drive off the dragon."
It was almost as if the voice was the wind itself with how close it was.
We ended up needing the voices words and started our attack on the dragon. The blonde attacked with balls made of Anemo energy, while I focused my Anemo energy and released it as a straightforward beam.
Our attacks struck the purple spike on it's head, and it seemed the dragon didn't like that one bit, if his roar of agony was anything to go by. We kept on the attack on the dragon with us weaving our way through the many attacks aimed at us until it finally got tired of its attacks missing while constantly being shot at and flew away.
After that whole event, we eventually arrived on the ground, safe and sound. I then looked at the blond girl and asked
"Are you ok miss…?"
"Lumine, and yes, I'm fine."
"I see."
The blonde girl's, now identified as Lumine's 2 companions then arrive where we dropped off at. The floating fairy was all kinds of worried and shook, as evident by her frantic flying around Lumine while the red ribbon girl, although also displaying worry and concern, was less physically expressive as the fairy.
"Lumine! Are you ok?! What happened?! How did you-"
"Calm down Paimon! I'm fine, see? No worries, or injuries. Really, it was thanks to this guy and some other voice that we managed to get out ok."
The floating fairy, now known to me as Paimon, then turns and looks at me with awe and relief, while the red ribbon girl looks at me in gratitude and thanks me for helping with the dragon and bring there with her friend. Then, another person joined in on the conversation.
"Well well well, looks like we got ourselves some very useful aid."
