She needed to get somewhere safe, protected; Thyjassa Oak. It was the perfect place.
Hela gave out a loud yell and summoned her companion, Fenris.
The midnight wolf o great power ran into the fields from the North and arrived on mere minutes.
Fenris came close and she placed her hand on the darkened fur which covered his head and said softly.
"Take me to Thyjassa Oak."
Her servants helped her unto the back of the great creature and it took off with immense speed towards their destination. They passed flower meadows and deserted war zones until they finally arrived at Thyjassa Oak located in lavish evergreen fields it dwelled in.
The Oaknwas inhabited by three elder witches of the North Ebb Tide coven. Hela got off Fenris and as if by fore tale
the hags appeared before her.
"She is carrying a babe" spoke the first towards no one in particular.
"She will need our help"said the second eagerly.
"Why should we help her?" voiced the third to contradict the second.
They voiced simultaneously to no particular person but one would guess as an inner thought.
"The babe will die anyway whether born or not."
The wisest of the three said, "We will help you but if the child is dead we keep it's remains upon birth into this realm."
Hela hadn't spoken a word since she arrived. The witches just stood infront of her clad in purple hooded coats and continued monologue.
After sometime, two of the three hags came by her side and held her forearms and helped her gradually towards the Oak which was an actual Oak tree. The final witch walked ahead of them grumbling words Hela could not comprehend. She then placed her wrinkled fingers into a small , wayward hole in the Oak. The hole glowed a Hazel gold upon touch and a door materialised with its wooden archways above it shaped like interlocking branches.
Hela was lead inside when the door opened on command. The insides of the Oak was as mystical it could be for the housing of three powerful witches. Huge cupboards full o potion, body parts of diverse creatures and candles that lot up upon entry. Ancient books lined the walls as they made their way through.
The aura emitted b the place would cause one to die instantly but ahe is still with you .
The hags led me through another door and this one led to a simpler room
The centre of the room had a four poster bed with numerous pillows of which all were covered in blood red silk.
The witches laid her on the bed and began to shift pillows under her head and legs ; then began on working to deliver the babe.
Within an hour, after enormous effort by Hela, the child was born. Hela had a daughter.
"The child is still alive, that cannot be possible. All the ancient texts say that the child should be dead." said the third alarmingly.
"But sister, you have overlooked one crucial factor. Hat is the child of the goddess of Death, the Queen of Valhalla."
The first voice after careful thinking.
"The child isn't going to live she just bought it time but it will die either way." said the second.
Her daughter was not dead to the surprise of all but was very weak and Hela knew that. She knew what had to be done for her yo keep her new born to survive.
The child's body was strong but it's spirit was not awakened. It had to be bound with an already awakened soul and not that of any mortal or one of her minions, but o one capable of living a full life without aging its body.
The awakened soul of a celestial.
The only place where such souls could be found was the Temple of the Blood. No being in Asgard, above or below dared to venture into the temple because it belonged to the race of vampiric beings, Morvians, who did not like intruders no matter who they are even if they where their own.
Hela knew danger awaited her if she decided o go through with this suicide mission but she had to keep daughter alive.
