Failure!
Undoubtedly, the situation ahead was extremely dangerous. In the midst of such danger, to think of achieving success in one fell swoop was absolutely impossible. There was no way, under any circumstances, for that to happen. In other words, there was absolutely no chance of success.
Because of this...
Since success was not an option, the question remained: failure? Did it mean absolute failure? No! Not necessarily. Sometimes, failure and failure are two entirely different things. With just a little thought, a bit of consideration, the situation becomes clear.
These issues...
With just a bit of reflection, it becomes evident that there are numerous challenges involved, and many of them are intertwined. That's simply how things are.
Hades looked at Persephone and calmly said, "Persephone, if you want to give it a try, go ahead. Whether you fail or not doesn't matter. Whether we lose or succeed, it's something the Underworld can handle."
"Hehehe~~~"
Persephone covered her mouth and giggled, looking at her husband's support with a hint of charm. "Then! My dear, I'll give it a try. Perhaps I will fail, and maybe the losses will be quite significant~~~"
Though Persephone said this, she knew very well that a huge loss was unlikely. That simply wasn't a realistic outcome.
Hades, in his calm manner, responded, "If you want to, then try it. Failure is just something in front of us; it won't cause too much harm."
Hades understood these things clearly. Failure? It was merely something present in front of them. These events weren't significant. Since failure was already inevitable...
But!
Still, failure is not always the same. Sometimes, a failure is just a stepping stone toward success. This is no big deal. Take it slowly. Or rather, handle it gradually over time. These are small matters.
Hades had a clear understanding of this. Expanding outward, pushing boundaries—losses are inevitable. Even for the Underworld, preparations must be made for setbacks. Loss and failure are natural parts of the process.
These matters are of great importance. Hades fully understood that each expansion of the Underworld was, in essence, a battle. Every time they advanced, failure and success were simply part of the equation. There was no doubt about this. Did such failure even need to be discussed?
Clearly!
It wasn't necessary to over-explain. Hades had already prepared for failure. Whether they failed or succeeded didn't matter. Everything was part of the plan, though, up until now, the Underworld had consistently succeeded, without question.
"Then..." Persephone thought for a moment and said, "My dear, I'll take care of it. These matters will require time to handle properly."
"Go ahead."
Hades nodded calmly, saying, "Persephone, don't be nervous, don't rush. Remember, your safety is what's most important. Everything else is secondary."
Hades' voice was soft, seemingly devoid of emotion. Yet, sometimes, the more emotionless he seemed, the clearer his character became.
"Understood!"
Persephone nodded obediently. This mature and regal Queen of the Underworld then departed, holding the Queen's scepter. She had much work ahead of her.
Persephone also knew that Poseidon and Zeus were watching her closely. They had plans for her; capturing her could bring them immense gains.
Because of this...
Persephone rarely left the Underworld. In fact, she almost never left. She remained within, content to be a homebody. However, in many ways, this wasn't necessarily a good thing.
Persephone was a living person, after all! And who can remain on guard every day for a thousand days? Persephone understood this principle very well. She had thought about it a lot and reflected on many aspects.
These issues weighed heavily on her mind, and eventually, Persephone came up with a different idea. She planned to leave the Underworld, but not to enter the mythological world... rather...
Now!
With her husband's support, Persephone was full of confidence and ready to get to work. As for whether she would succeed? Again, success was impossible, and failure was inevitable. However! Even failure can take different forms.
For this reason, these matters were of great importance. Persephone understood this very clearly. She knew exactly what was at stake.
The tasks that needed to be done would be handled properly, and the things that needed to be addressed, she would personally take care of. Persephone was fully aware of her responsibilities and would manage everything accordingly.
On the other side...
After Persephone left, Hades quietly observed everything below. As time passed, the world-ending disaster finally came to an end.
One could say...
With this disaster finally over, the results were clear, revealing what the outcome would be. This conclusion confirmed what lay ahead.
The Underworld!
In yet another cataclysmic event, the Underworld had profited tremendously. The birth of three God-King level deities was already a massive gain. However! The creation of these three God-King servants wasn't even the greatest boon. What came next—the additional resources and treasures—was just as critical. Properly managing all of this would ensure the Underworld reaped the most significant rewards.
Sometimes, it's the rare resources and divine artifacts that bring the greatest gains.
