Chapter 339 - Chapter 339: The Three Great Hells! The Underworld's Counterattack and Its Continued Evolution!

A God-King represents immediate combat power.

There's no doubt about that. The addition of Moirae, Ceres, and Karl, three new God-Kings, was a substantial reinforcement for the Underworld. From any angle, this was undeniably a significant boost to its strength, an indisputable fact.

But besides that?

Divine artifacts!

Resources!

Relics!

To put it bluntly, these were carted into the Underworld by the truckload, one after another. There was simply too much. For the entire Underworld, the scale of these acquisitions was staggering.

Especially for the Underworld, no matter what kind of resources they were—whether useful or not—it didn't matter. They were all taken. There was no need to be selective. Everything that could be transported was taken. Digging three feet into the ground to find them? That wouldn't be an exaggeration—it was entirely fitting and without question.

Through this method, a vast amount of materials, divine artifacts, and resources were brought into the Underworld. Those with use were kept, while the useless ones were devoured, becoming nourishment for the World Tree.

"Be careful."

"Watch out."

Thanatos directed the operation. Under his command, a large quantity of divine artifacts and resources were quickly sent into the Underworld, soon making their way into the Demon Star.

Thanatos was also calculating and estimating the total amounts.

After a long while, Thanatos sighed in awe, "What an enormous amount of resources! It's unbelievable that a single world-ending event could bring so much wealth."

Of course, these resources didn't come from the terrestrial world. While the land above had riches, they weren't this abundant. These resources were gained from the apocalypse itself. Naturally, a world-ending event like this would inevitably result in massive spoils and tremendous resources.

This fact was beyond doubt.

An apocalypse!

To put it bluntly, it meant the destruction of an entire era. Once that era fell, no matter how you looked at it, large amounts of divine power and resources would be acquired. That was a certainty. After all, wasn't that just common sense?

Clearly.

With just a little thought, you could understand this.

"Compared to creation," Hypnos remarked thoughtfully, "The benefits of an apocalypse are far more astounding. That much is undoubtedly true!"

Hypnos reflected on it. The apocalypse! Just witnessing the rewards brought by such an event was enough to understand the scale of the wealth it could generate.

"Sigh."

Hypnos sighed, shaking his head. There wasn't much more to say. The facts were laid out before them, and there was no need to overthink things.

Apocalypse and creation.

Although the two are opposites, in simple terms, compared to the apocalypse, creation involves more expenditure. In contrast, the apocalypse is a process of pure plunder. An unrestricted plunder, requiring no hesitation—just endless looting.

This is the profit that an apocalypse brings.

For the Underworld, this means nothing short of tremendous gains. It's clear that through this latest apocalyptic event, the Underworld will gain enormously, a fact beyond any doubt.

"And besides that..."

"Hmm~~~"

"Everything is under control, and for the most part, no problems should arise."

Thanatos was also considering and carefully organizing the situation.

Hypnos shook his head, cautioning, "Still, we should remain vigilant. These situations can be tricky, and negligence could lead to significant issues. We need to stay alert."

Hypnos was on high alert. He knew this was a great harvest for the Underworld, but with such a harvest comes challenges. Naturally, these gains could bring complications.

If handled properly? Then!

Of course!

Everything would proceed smoothly without issue. But if something went wrong, and they were targeted by others, things could become quite problematic. Significant trouble could arise if they weren't careful.

This wasn't something to be taken lightly. Who knows what the other side might be preparing? Clearly, these are matters that need to be taken seriously and considered carefully.

If by any chance!

Even the smallest slip-up could lead to significant problems. If anything went wrong, it could spell disaster.

Hypnos was very serious about this. He couldn't afford any complacency. There were undoubtedly many issues to be concerned about.

Thanatos, after some reflection, also nodded seriously. He knew that there were clear risks here. They couldn't afford to let their guard down. Any negligence could have fatal consequences.

These various matters all required careful thought, attention, and management.

Hypnos and Thanatos both understood the importance of approaching everything with caution. There was no room for doubt.

However!

Besides the challenges, the benefits were also undeniable. The Underworld would certainly reap great rewards.

The birth of Moirae, Ceres, and Karl, three new God-King level deities, also signified the creation of three new hells.

The Hell of Fate.

The Hell of Ghosts.

The Hell of Destruction.

These three new hells, much like the Contract Hell and the Space Hell, were all connected to the Underworld, bringing overall growth. This enhancement would continuously provide feedback and elevate the Underworld in an ongoing cycle of improvement. There was no doubt about that.

Moreover, the three God-Kings themselves provided feedback to the Underworld, which further nourished the World Tree. This double reinforcement once again pushed the Underworld to evolve and advance.

Three God-Kings!

No matter how you looked at it, three God-Kings brought about undeniable growth. This growth primarily benefitted Hades the most.
