At Cake Island, chaos erupted.
"Ahhh! Lynch, you little brat! I'm going to kill you!"
Big Mom had lost herself to rage. With a single swing of Napoleon, she flattened an entire mountain. No one dared to get close to her in this state.
"Why does Mom always go berserk whenever there's news about Lynch?" Smoothie sighed, absently crossing her long legs, a troubled look on her face.
"This time, it's worse than ever. A big war is inevitable," Oven muttered grimly.
"Of course it is," Brûlée scoffed.
"When Lynch kidnapped all the giants, Mom was ready to go to war. If it weren't for Katakuri, who nearly talked himself hoarse convincing her otherwise, it would've happened back then."
"And now, with Caesar captured, the giantification experiment is gone. You know how obsessed Mom is with giants there's no way she wouldn't go mad over this"
Katakuri stood silently to the side, his brows furrowed. There was no stopping it this time. War was inevitable.
One day later, shocking news spread across the seas the Beasts Pirates had officially declared war on West Blue.
The next day, the Big Mom Pirates did the same.
By the third day, the unthinkable happened Kaido and Big Mom had formed an alliance, jointly declaring war against Emperor Lynch.
The entire world trembled at the news. It had been years since such a monumental event shook the seas.
Two of the Four Emperors joining forces to take down another top power no matter the outcome, the world would never be the same.
Within days, news of the shocking event spread across the entire sea.
The impact was dozens of times greater than the Doflamingo incident.
Compared to the Four Emperors, Doflamingo was nothing more than a minor figure.
From the highest Celestial Dragons to the lowest commoners, everyone was talking about it speculating on the outcome and who would emerge victorious.
The world had been thrown into chaos.
As two Emperors waged war against West Blue, different forces reacted in their own ways.
A noble, who wished to remain anonymous, shared an interesting rumor. According to him, his cousin's grandson's second uncle, who happened to run errands in the Holy Land of Mariejois, overheard something unusual.
That night, the laughter of Saturn Saint, one of the Five Elders, reportedly echoed across the sky for two hours.
The eerie, laughing sound was so terrible that many mistook it for Big Mom herself.
Meanwhile, at the base of another Emperor, Shanks tension filled the air.
"Why can't they just wait for the new era to arrive?" Shanks sighed, rubbing his temples.
"Boss, should we step in?" Lucky Roo asked, munching on a chicken leg.
Shanks gave a simple four-word reply: "Just wait and see."
"Oh, got it," Lucky Roo said, continuing to chew.
Yasopp glanced at the red-haired captain in surprise. Shanks choosing not to intervene? That was unusual.
Meanwhile, at the heart of the storm, Lynch wasn't troubled by the news, in fact, he was happy.
With a confident smile, he spoke words that quickly spread across the sea:
"If they want to come, let them come. Even if it's two against one, I will remain invincible."
Some called him reckless. After all, he was facing two Emperors.
Others called him a true emperor a warrior without fear.
—
Time flew by like a fleeting shadow.
Two months passed in the blink of an eye.
Despite Kaido and Big Mom's alliance declaring war, the sea remained eerily calm—a silence that felt like the deep breath before a raging storm.
During these months, Lynch roamed the seas, hunting Sea Kings and feasting on fresh sashimi.
His body size continued to grow, reaching an astonishing 455 meters—standing taller than a hundred-story building!
Only 45 meters remained before Lynch would break the 500-meter mark.
"Sir, we're approaching Reverse Mountain. Please take action."
Snowflakes swirled in the air, gathering into the shape of a woman—Monet had returned to her human form. Without her bird-like wings and talons, her beauty had flourished over the past two months at sea. She had become the ship's undisputed goddess.
Lynch had also resolved the lingering illusion in her heart, with Uchiha Mikoto's help.
"I got it."
After days of staying out of sight, Lynch finally stepped out of the cabin.
With a casual wave of his hand, he manipulated electromagnetic forces, lifting the massive ship into the air.
The ship flew over Reverse Mountain.
Onboard, the Dressrosa soldiers dropped to their knees once again, utterly in awe.
They had lost count of how many times Lynch had shocked them.
First, he controlled the weather as if he were a god.
Now, he made an entire warship fly, bypassing Reverse Mountain without a single risk.
"Lynch-sama is omnipotent! Is there anything he can't do?"
"Lynch-sama, please accept my humble kneecaps!"
With a loud bang, the giant ship touched down, splashing onto the calm waters of West Blue.
"Finally home!" Tashigi inhaled the familiar sea breeze, a soft smile on her face.
She was eager to return and check on Kujaku and the others.
Meanwhile, elsewhere Doflamingo lounged by a bed, sunglasses on, exuding the aura of a true underworld kingpin.
"How are the giants doing?"
Lynch had returned to West Blue, but instead of worrying about Kaido and Big Mom's alliance, his first concern was the giants.
The so-called war declaration from Kaido and Big Mom had been loud and dramatic, but actually launching their armies from the New World to West Blue would take months.
Before even setting sail, they needed a battle plan, a strategy for coordination, and enough forces left behind to guard their territories.
After all, it would be humiliating if their homes were taken over while they were off fighting.
This whole process would drag on for weeks, so Lynch saw no need to rush.
A battle was inevitable; it was just a matter of when.
Years ago, his foundation had been too weak to challenge a Four Emperors crew head-on. But now?
West Blue was no longer what it used to be.
If they wanted war, they could bring it to him.
Instead of marching into their turf, he would make them come to West Blue.
Home-field advantage was often the key to victory.
—
"Sir, with Prince Loki and his siblings helping to reassure them, and the fact that we're treating their newborns for Elbar disease for free, resistance among the giants has dropped significantly," Shikamaru reported through the phone.
"Significantly? So there's still resistance?" Lynch raised an eyebrow.
It had been nearly a year and a half since the giants relocated from Elbaf to West Blue.
Yet, their deep-rooted attachment to their homeland remained. No matter how much time passed, many still longed to return.
"At least their protests are just protests now," Shikamaru said over the phone. "Unlike before, when they arrived and things immediately escalated into violent clashes."
His tone carried a hint of frustration.
Who knew giants could be as stubborn as mules? They clung to old traditions, shouting about nonsense like the Hall of Valor day after day…
Lynch remained unfazed.
"Take your time. As long as things are improving, there's no need to rush."
He ended the call.
Building a giant army was still a long journey ahead.
