Chapter 5 - "Not even death can't protect you from me."

When I got at the hotel, I found Taesong, my best friend waiting for me.

"Annyeonhaseyo lady boss," He said bowing to me.

"Ohhh! what is it with the bowing? Since when do you bow to me?" I said, my brows knitted together in confusion.

"Why? Did I melt your heart?" He said, a playful smile stretching across his face.

"Ohhh! you so wish, I got goose bumps from just watching you bow to me. It was like seeing Lucifer bow down to God." I said, as a shiver running down my spine as goose bumps prickled across my skin.

"Ohhh! And what is that supposed to mean?" He said, squinted at me, clearly suspicious.

"The bowing thing ain't your thing. I love my Sonah, but not this old fashioned Sonah I'm seeing today." I said, poking his shoulder twice then stopped.

"Okay okay, enough with the chatting. Lets get going so we can finish early and have time to catch up," He said as he pulled me to the elevator.

We arrived at the conference room where the meeting was held, Zha Zha and Sonah were the first to enter the room. I walked in lastly, my face cold and ruthless, my expression unreadable. The moment I walked in everyone rushed to their feet and immediately bowed to me. I remained unfazed and walked towards my chair. I pulled the chair and sat down before signaling them to settle down so that we can start discussing the agenda of the meeting.

"Now that we are all settled in, lets get down to business." I said, my expression still cold and ruthless.

"THUD!" I slammed my hand onto the table, and a tense silence swept through the room. Even the most hardened men around the table stiffened.

"Is there anyone who cares to explain how the f**k an enemy from your side managed to slip past all your security and make it all the way to Beijing to attack one of my core warehouses?" I said, my voice echoing across the room, cold and commanding.

The room went quiet, everyone bowing their heads down, not daring to lift them even an inch. They were all shaking with fear, sweat trickling down their face as they kept their heads lowered, too terrified to look up. Their silence only fueled my anger. I was about to stand up and throw the stats files on them when Jin stood up and volunteered to elaborate the whole situation.

Jin, also known as Seokjin. He is the dark horse rider (DHR) of the Dracula Empire. The Empire has expanded to four countries, Thai, Japan, China and South Korea. There are three positions, the ruler of the dark tower (RODT), the dark horse rider (DHR) and the one that rules above them all, Lady dragon. Each country has its own DHR and RODT, but all ruled by one Lady D.

"If I may?" He said, his face drenched with sweat as he fought to keep himself from crumbling down beneath the overwhelming aura radiating from me.

"Go ahead," I said, with a faint smirk on my face, my anger finally settling down.

"About the attack in Beijing, it was indeed made by the Hexagonal gang but not from our side.

With the way the Hexagonal gang was able to carry out the attack on us, I started suspecting that they might have an insider at the main branch, so I did my own private investigation and found out that indeed there is a rat in the main branch.

Looking at the fact that the warehouse attacked was our core warehouse, it is very clear that the insider is someone working close to one of our higher ups or it may be one of our very own higher ups."

He finished explaining what he had discovered and fell silent, waiting for my reaction.

" Clap! Clap! Clap!" A slow, deliberate sound of hands clapping echoed through the room.

"Impressive" I said as I stepped away from my chair, and started walking around the table, my footsteps the only sound feeling the room. I stopped behind his chair.

Without warning, I reached down and grabbed him, pulling his attention to me.

"Now tell me." I said my calm but intimidating.

"Were you able to find that very same rat that has been eager to die?" I asked, resting my hand on his shoulder, A shiver ran down his spine.

"No! Even though I managed to find that much, I still failed to find the insider's identity. It's my incompetence, please punish me however you see fit. " He said, lowering his head slightly in submission.

"Not bad, I'm impressed." I said, tapping his shoulder twice before moving back to my seat.

"Now lets get into real business, it looks like the Hexagonal gang no longer wishes to live, so I'll be a sweetheart and fulfil their wish." I said, a grin creeping across my face.

"We will be divided into 3 groups, A, B and C. Group A will be using air attack on led by Hyunjin, the RODT. Group B will be led by me and group C will be led by Jin. We will both use the ground attack from different sides so each will have to divide into halves to occupy all sides. We are meeting outside the Hexagonal gang's main hideout so make sure to be in position by 20h00. " I said, my hand moving in deliberate patterns across the map as I marked each of our target.

"One last thing. Make sure to stay alive or else I'll haunt you, even if you are dead. Have I made myself clear?" I said, in an intimidating tone, my face expression turning cold.

"YES BOSS!" They all responded in unison, their voice trembling with fear. Betraying the fear the tried desperately to hide.

"DISMISSED," I said as she stood up and walked out of the door.

As soon as I walked out of the door, everyone started breathing heavily as if they were holding their breath. After leaving the conference room, I left with Zha Zha and Sunah to pay visit to some old mates of mine at his house.
