Chapter 45 - Chapter 45 - Minutes of Joy

It had only been three months since Sasaki and his sons had entered seclusion, and they still had three months remaining. Sasaki faced a dilemma. He needed three more years to master the Chaos Dance technique, but he couldn't begin his training immediately. He had many things to consider before committing to such an extended period of seclusion.

The primary concern was intruders; someone might discover their cave and disturb his training and that of his sons. The cave's concealment relied on his sheer force, making it an unnatural and potentially detectable hideout.

Sasaki pondered deeply to find a solution but lacked any skills that could naturally hide the cave. However, with three months left, he had an idea: Kuro's Demonic Mirage technique. This skill could potentially hide the cave for the next three years, allowing Sasaki to train without worries.

Knowing that mastering the Chaos Dance required a vast amount of Chaos energy, which he currently lacked, Sasaki decided to spend the next three months practicing the Chaos and Heart technique to form the 9th circle. After the 8th circle, the gap to the 9th was like the difference between heaven and earth - nearly impossible to bridge. But Sasaki had no other option. With nothing else to do, he resolved to give it a try.

After three months of intense seclusion training, Sasaki experienced something completely unexpected. Unlike previous progressions, this achievement wasn't prompted by a main quest from The One System, which typically provided structured guidance to accelerate his level and boost his power. Instead, Sasaki's recent success was a result of his own determination and effort, surpassing even The One System's predictions.

Throughout his new life, Sasaki had consistently broken records, demonstrating an impossible and unparalleled ability to master techniques in an extraordinarily short period. This latest achievement was no exception. As he sat in deep meditation, focusing on his training, he felt a profound shift within himself. Suddenly, he realized he had achieved something miraculous: he had reached the 10th Circle Chaos ring, shattering the previous limit of the 8th Circle.

His heart pounded with joy, and his eyes widened with shock. In his trance state, he had broken through the barriers that held others back, transcending the limitations that once seemed insurmountable. This breakthrough elevated him to the rank of Intermediate Rank Demon.

Filled with happiness and a sense of profound accomplishment, Sasaki stood tall, his spirit soaring. He had not only advanced beyond his own expectations but had also set a new precedent for what could be achieved. The feeling of his heart pounding with excitement and his eyes widening in amazement was a clear indication of the importance of this moment.

More than a year had passed since Sasaki first arrived in this world, and during this time, he had been alone. Recently, however, he had adopted the hobgoblins infants as his sons, and it was through them that he truly experienced happiness. Teaching and guiding them allowed him to fulfill a role he had never been able to achieve in his previous life. This newfound sense of purpose brought him immense joy.

Standing tall, Sasaki raised his hand and made a fist, a gesture of determination and resolve. He knew that soon, he would need to step out into the world once more. The time was approaching when he would have to become part of the destruction and creation, while also protecting what was precious to him. This duality of roles, both destroyer and protector, weighed heavily on his mind.

In his heart, Sasaki felt a profound sense of pride and happiness. He had achieved what many would deem impossible, breaking through barriers and surpassing limits. He sighed deeply, taking a pause from his relentless training to savor this moment of triumph and fulfillment. This was not just a personal victory, but a proof to his growth and resilience.

Soon, his three sons emerged from seclusion as promised. Sasaki's keen eyes could discern their newfound power, piercing through the aura that each of his sons had mastered. A proud smile danced on his lips as he look in their progress. His eyes shone with pride, and a sly, satisfied grin spread across his face.

Goro, Kuro, and Shiro stood tall before Sasaki, each displaying their unique personalities. Goro's face beamed with pride, his chest puffed out and a wide, toothy grin spreading across his face. Shiro, calm and composed, held his katana in his right hand, a faint, serene smile playing on his lips as he kept his eyes closed. Kuro, with his eyes also closed, had his hands crossed behind his back, exuding a quiet confidence.

Unable to contain his excitement, Goro blurted out, "Father, you won't believe how strong I've become! My skills can break through anything now!" His voice was full of eagerness, and Sasaki could see his impatience.

Sasaki smiled, his heart swelling with pride. He already knew the progress of all his sons, but he kept his mouth sealed, wanting to hear it from them. He enjoyed these moments of their boasting, it filled his heart with joy.

Shiro opened his eyes slightly, a sly smile on his face. "I've mastered my all sword skills, Father. I can cut through the darkness itself," he said calmly, his voice steady and confident.

Kuro, still with his hands behind his back, added, "And I've perfected my demonic mirage technique. I can create illusions so real, they could fool even the goddess of light itself."

Sasaki chuckled, his eyes shining with pride and happiness. "You have all done incredibly well," he said, his voice warm and filled with emotion. "You make me proud. I cannot describe this feeling in words, but feel this embrace and the beating of my heart which convey this feeling."

He pulled them into a tight hug, tears welling up in his eyes. "You have made me the happiest father. Now, let's keep pushing forward. Together, we will achieve even greater things."
