Chapter 44 - Chapter 44 - Chaos Dance and Chaos Constellation

The Chaos Dance Technique is a highly destructive skill requiring a large amount of chaos energy. This technique only has one skill but can take multiple forms. It harnesses the chaotic nature of chaos energy through various hand gestures that activate Chaos Nodes, amplifying the energy for maximum destruction. The Chaos Dance Technique is an area-of-effect attack, impacting a wide area with devastating force.

Sasaki understood the flow of energy through Chaos Nodes. For different forms, he needed to activate specific Chaos Nodes to amplify the chaos energy. The first form, Half Lunar Annihilation, activates four Chaos Nodes to summon a half moon, which can obliterate an entire village. The second form, Full Lunar Devastation, activates seven Chaos Nodes to summon a full moon, capable of destroying a whole city. The final form, Eclipse of Destruction, activates twelve Chaos Nodes to summon a full eclipse moon, covering half the world in darkness and capable of annihilating multiple cities.

Sasaki focused his mind, curious to understand what Chaos Nodes are and how he could activate them. As he was sitting in a same meditative pose, with closed eyes, and allowed his thoughts to delve deep into his own mind. He concentrated on the flow of chaos energy within him, trying to sense any hidden points of power.

As he meditated, he felt subtle pulses of energy, like faint whispers, coming from certain points in his body. These were the Chaos Nodes. They were special points within his body that held the potential to amplify chaos energy, but they needed to be activated properly. He realized that these nodes were connected by pathways, like a network that channeled the energy throughout his body.

To activate a Chaos Node, Sasaki needed to use precise hand gestures and movements that targeted these points. Each gesture was like a key, unlocking the energy stored within the node and allowing it to flow freely. He practiced the gestures, feeling the energy build up and then release as he moved his hands.

With each successful activation, he could feel the power of the chaos energy growing stronger and more focused. He practiced activating different combinations of nodes, learning how each one affected the flow and intensity of the energy. This understanding was crucial for mastering the Chaos Dance Technique.

Sasaki, deep in concentration and seeking to understand the nature of Chaos Nodes, experienced a revelation. It was as if a painting had been created in his mind. He reached a state of enlightenment, where every piece of knowledge now formed a vivid image. The painting represented the night sky, with many stars glowing brightly. Sasaki's mind raced, connecting all the stars to form every known constellation he could recall from his previous memories. This was how he understood the nature of the Chaos Nodes.

Activating the Chaos Nodes was like connecting stars to form constellations. Each pattern represented a unique skill within the Chaos Dance Technique. He visualized these nodes within his body, each a point of immense power, and began to see how they connected to channel chaos energy effectively.

Sasaki, mumbling to himself, tried to understand the Chaos Constellation and how to visualize it within his body. To master the Half Lunar Annihilation, he needed to connect four key Chaos Nodes. In his mind, these nodes formed a crescent shape: Heart, Right Hand, Left Hand, and Solar Plexus, which known as the Crescent Constellation.

For the Full Lunar Annihilation, Sasaki realized he needed to activate seven Chaos Nodes. He visualized these nodes forming a full moon pattern within his body: Heart, Right Hand, Left Hand, Right Foot, Left Foot, Solar Plexus, and Forehead. This pattern he called the Orion Constellation.

To achieve the Eclipse Annihilation, Sasaki knew he had to connect twelve Chaos Nodes, creating an eclipse pattern that covered his entire body. He saw the nodes in his mind: Heart, Right Hand, Left Hand, Right Foot, Left Foot, Forehead, Solar Plexus, Right Shoulder, Left Shoulder, Lower Back, Right Knee, and Left Knee. This intricate pattern he named the Draco Constellation.

As soon as Sasaki gained knowledge about Chaos Dance and Chaos Constellations, a new main quest popped up in front of him.

[New Main Quest 4: Master every skill of Chaos Dance Technique]

[Main Quest 4 Objective: Master the art of Chaos Dance within time limit]

[Reward: Deception of Light Skill]

[Additional Reward: ???]

[Penalty: Death]

[Deadline: 3 years]

[Quest automatically accepted]

As Sasaki's eyes locked on the main quest penalty, his eyes widened with shock, and his heart pounded. He immediately understood that mastering the Chaos Dance technique was crucial to his survival and future goals. This was the first time the penalty for not completing a quest was death.

Pressing his fingers to his forehead, Sasaki thought hard about this difficult and seemingly impossible penalty. He muttered to himself, noting that whether it was the Illumina System or The One System, both presented challenges that could be solved or hacked by the user.

Covering his mouth with his palm, he breathed deeply, feeling the hot air blow from his mouth as he pondered. He needed to find the key to solve this puzzle. The three-year timeframe indicated that mastering the Chaos Nodes was not a child's play but an ultimate, difficult task.

While he had completed previous quests within months, this new quest extended to years. His mind also worried about potential challenges, such as someone discovering the cave and disturbing his and his sons' seclusion training.

Although he knew everything theoretically, activating the Chaos Constellation was as difficult as moving a mountain. It was entirely different from learning the Shadow Technique.

Sasaki stood tall, closing his eyes. The rays of tension were visible on his forehead. It had been three months, and his sons were about to come out of seclusion to meet him. Currently, he couldn't go into another seclusion training without meeting his sons and checking their progress.

Calming his heart as he always did, Sasaki thought it was not the time to panic about the quest and its penalty.

He muttered to himself, "Let's focus on my sons' progress first. Maybe I can find some solution while observing. The answer to a problem can be found anywhere, as long as you have the eyes to see the truth - the eyes that can pierce the lies and find the truth."
