Chapter 273 - Search For Lucia

Chapter 273 Search For Lucia

Aleshia left the room in search of Lucia, leaving the party to finish cleaning up. She planned to check the classroom, hoping to find Lucia there. As she walked, she noticed two kids running around, wielding practice swords, battling each other. The swords seemed hefty, making a loud thud as they swung. Further into the room, she noticed another group of younger kids sitting in a semi-circle a bit away from the pair who were fighting. Upon realizing they were watching the battle for entertainment, she quietly moved to the edge of the room to ensure she wasn't blocking their view.

Even though the fight was for children's entertainment, there was a noticeable degree of skill involved in the duel. Aleshia watched their movements, and while they might have been somewhat exaggerated, there was an undeniable artistry to them that could easily catch someone off guard. At the very least, the fighters could protect themselves from anyone who would try to harm them. After enjoying the performance, she proceeded to the classroom.

Aleshia opened the door and saw a group of kids gathered around a witch hat. The hat was writing on a board in front of the class. Although it couldn't communicate with words, it conveyed its message through writing. Some of the children struggled to read the complicated characters, but Lucia helped them understand by creating drawings and encouraging the other kids to share their thoughts. Despite not hearing Lucia, the kids seemed engaged in class and were enjoying this new approach to learning.

A moment after entering the room, Lucia spoke in her mind, "Hi, it seems you're back. It's been a real struggle not being able to communicate with the kids. I would really appreciate it if you could step in and help with this."

"Sure, but I'd like to know, do you have long left? I've been able to make a deal with a party, and they're free to leave, so I'm wondering."

"Hmm, well, you're in luck," Lucia chuckled. "The class is wrapping up, so I think we'll be able to return to them in a few minutes." After saying this, Lucia hopped onto Aleshia's head and rested there, visibly relaxing.

The kids were initially confused when Lucia left the board, but they quickly understood that Aleshia would be taking over for the rest of the class and using words to teach them. Some of the kids looked relieved by this prospect, while others seemed a bit disappointed. Evidently, they had enjoyed the new way Lucia had been teaching them.
