"I am married?" Lydia said with wide eyes and disbelief.
"What incident?"
"C...could that be the reason why I cannot remember who or where I was no matter how hard I try?" Lydia said, her lashes trembling ever so slightly, as she clutched her hands together.
Then she looked away from him, her eyes darting all over the place as if there's something she really wants to remember, but she couldn't.
"Yes, you are married," the blue haired guy said, so Lydia turned to him again.
His sleepy eyes, remained uninterested and bored, but his gaze was piercing and nerve wracking, making her feel like she was standing in a white room, surrounded by hundreds of prying eyes.
"You got caught up in the chaos created by a high-ranking monster," he added as he hid the quill pen in his pocket.
"Now that I've answered your questions, please allow me to check if you had really forgotten who you are," he said as he walked towards her.
The nearer he got, the heavier Lydia's body became.
