Lydia tucked her hair behind her ear as she eyed Adelaide, who was leading the way.
'Damn... I still haven't come up with something that can assure my success,' Lydia thought as she brushed her hair aside again because the wind kept blowing it to her face.
'It sure is windy here,' she thought as she glanced to her left, enabling her to see the town below.
As much as she wanted to enjoy the scenery, she's in a hurry, so she continued ascending the slope.
'What exactly do I have to do?'
'I can give him the items and apply the salve if he permits. They're forms of care, but I cannot rely on them because my points have dropped so low, it's unlikely that they'll be enough to stabilize him.'
'I can complement them with other things like resting quietly by his side and listening to whatever he wants to say, but since I'm part of the trigger, that might backfire.'
'Hmn...' Lydia's eyes narrowed as she tucked her hair again.
