Upon hearing the notification, Lydia took a deep breath in before gradually withdrawing her energy around him.
Then she took her time to transition out of that state and opened her eyes.
'It worked,' Lydia thought as she leaned back on the chair to rest.
Her body was still warmer than usual, and now she's extremely hungry too. However, her attention was somewhere else.
'I had worries that for some reason it might not work, or that it won't be enough, or that he might react unexpectedly as soon as I start, but I'm glad it turned out well,' she thought as she took another deep breath in, to ground herself.
After several more breaths, her face brightened as the image of the rewards popped up in her head.
'Hehehe, I can finally eat some rice.'
'I'll get a toothbrush too, so I won't have to keep using the cloth, thread, and that weird tasting mouthwash they gave me.'
