Qhah-el paused, wondering if she's doing that because she doesn't want to waste her efforts... or if she has ill intentions, which is more probable.
"Show me the salve."
Lydia picked up the basket and rummaged through it.
Then, she pulled out a small silver pot with wavelike patterns on the lid before placing the basket down.
"This one, Your Highness," Lydia said as she opened the lid, revealing a greenish paste that shimmered faintly in the light.
Within seconds, the crisp, biting scent of mint and rosemary escaped into the cool air, reaching him.
He could immediately tell it wasn't tampered with, so he walked towards her.
