The holy moonlight, chilly and pouring down, illuminates the face clearly like silver.
After swimming and bathing in the lake, Wufu feels revived. This is her first truly enjoyable bath since entering the jungle days ago.
"Take this medicine first." Ah Jiu hands her a specially made pill, babbling, "Didn't I say you could just wipe yourself down a bit? Why did you jump straight into the water? It's not even April yet, the water is really cold."
"Ah Jiu, has anyone ever said you're like a nagging old lady?" Wufu laughs cheerfully.
Ah Jiu's hand freezes, his eyes squint slightly, "Are you complaining that I'm being verbose?"
Wufu replies, "I really thought you were my mother possessing you!"
"If your mother knew you were mingling among so many men and jumping into the lake to bathe in the middle of the night, she'd probably faint from anger. A young lady like you should take better care of herself." Ah Jiu snickers.
