VERSE VIII
Matter burned, essence drained, laws broken yet no one yielded.
Set ablaze by the consequences, consequences of breaking the law of existence, yet unshaken, brazen in the flames of their own deliquesce.
Brazen in the scorching heat, heat that seemed to dissipate the little shreds that their hopes were clinging upon.
A rebounding punishment to curb a threat to creation, yes— these are all consequences of this battle.
And how absurd where the stakes, risks of magnitude that shook them and tested their faith.
Do they not care for the innocent beings of the reality around them?.
Do they not wish to spare their lives, not incurring an everlasting backlash to defying the rules of kingdom of existence?.
No, not that they did not care but they could not stop.
Any being that has begun the star sequence keeps ascending till the matter of their existence is quenched, they had perished and their ashes scattered and absorbed by laws that govern creation.
What a very devastating thing?. Yet was it not right? It's only normal for law breaker to face his penance, no?.
Two foundational laws were broken. Yes, many more where but these two were that which creation has seemed to hold dear.
One, Time. This was a major backbone of creation.
The mass of the current reality is only possible by the factor, Time.
Without it, there would be a collapse of realities emerging in the chaos turning into non existence.
Past, present and future collide, realms; finite, infinite, spiritual, physical all merge together ,becoming one, Endless possibilities and chaos.
It is often phrased by the people of Eidengard or Eideans as;
" Anything and Everything is possible, even the Impossible"
Yes, the saying is true, true if time is removed.
Meaning, thoughts actualize, nightmares materialize and disaster magnified.
The greatest enemy to beings of creations are their selves— their thoughts, emotions, processes , doubts, yet Time holds all this together.
It's essentially a survival tool, deemed independent by existence yet it's inhabitants rely on it to live and keep living.
Two, a battle between Absolute Opposites.
Forces banned against one another since the dawn of time.
Not just any opposites but the main root of all.
These opposites are forces that separates the morality of creation.
These forces are the basis of living for two separate, distinct beings.
These forces are the pillars of creation, even existence relies on them since before time was even created—heavily to remain stable.
Henceforth, a rule , a rule to ban the battle between the pillars of creation to avoid its fracture, break and extinction.
These two pillars are the root of all supernatural ability as they are the drive, the nature and morality of all other supernaturality.
The principle of divinity and iniquity.
The root of all good and the root of all evil.
Two foundational yet absolute polar opposites.
Yes, such was the magnitude of their battle and the only reason why they had stepped on the star sequence in a battle so fast, faster than any battle in existence.
The battle between these two absolutes are enough to tear down time, and destroy reality as consequence.
Hence the vacuum of space around them, yet not one of them seemed to care.
Questions and doubts and thoughts arose in theirs minds, simultaneously materializing upon them within the vacuum of space.
Still frozen in the pose, hands into each others chest cage, their wails grew louder and so did the sound of fire ravaging their flesh.
The colors of the realms merging , and burstig into glistening colors.
Their darkest thoughts gobbling their flesh and matter, their brightest thoughts being pounded upon by eccentric beings from another realm.
Around them, realities warped, from a scarred skull-filled battle field to wailing souls of the dead gasping and clasping to leave the sea of hellfire looking upon crucifix, to rainbow lands and children playgrounds.
Their skin, charred , consumed.
Muscles to bones.
Incredible yet malignant,
Beautiful yet destructive, such was the sight.
Alas, he could not bear it any longer. Kato could not bear it any longer. The mere thought of loosing his life force when he knew not the whereabouts of his sister tugged him so.
But he was not willing to be the one to fall.
Simultaneously, his thoughts were created, becoming matter before he had even deployed his plan.
Yet it mattered not to him. He cannot wish death upon her, as she in her current reversed state is divinity.
It's impossible, and so would the angel before him know this.
She had seen a very innate nature that he had tried to hide.
This is also the same reason he cannot fight against Yonikaharu.
Divinity, such stupid sight .
Yet he fell for it, he fell for a carrier of such power that he despises.
Damn it.
He looked upon the creature that bit his neck and tore his capillaries with his teeth.
White hair, baby figure.
He closed his eyes...trying not reminisce such a displeasing scene.
This kid, is the baby he once killed.
An innocent child destroyed , as a cause of the dispute he had with the House of Omi, as soon as it was found he had been acting ignorant.
The younger brother of Yonikaharu Okimura.
He gnashed his teeth to relief him of agony.
How can he tear his capillaries with his mouth, when he is literally ablaze in flames?
How are there even any capillaries to begin with? Yet he let it not disturb him, this was the mumble jumble of this current happenings around him.
The natural had been stripped off this current reality, now having placed them in a state of endless possibilities and chaos yet he cannot wish the extinction of this angel, of whom seems to love her past self more than her present self.
She is holding up quite well, despite seeing her future self that has been glorified as a devil and a worker of Iniquity.
Like her, he was once a nice guy.
He rid that thought, and instantly rid the others he had in mind setting himself blank yet it was no longer the thoughts but his past.
He accepted it was his nature but the consequences were still there, the souls from the nether were clinging unto him.
The putrid smell of flames and rotten flesh filled the vacuum, well it cannot be a vacuum as he is able to smell but he rid of the idea, remembering that they are in a state of endless possibilities and chaos.
The wails of the dead piercing through their woes and multiple cackling sounds of thunder and raining brimstone.
The temperature across and their bones began to melt.
But the laws of existence are too rigid, this fight would've been over.
Now he had to carry out his plan else he could die here, literally.
****
"You seem to be holding on quite well, little angel." A displeasing remark left his lips , yet not silenced by the noise and chaos all around them.
She would leave such remarks be. His aim here is quite obvious, and as such she would trust nothing.
After all, he possessed the root of all evil which no one other than those that serve The Enemy of Existence directly possess, as they are given this power directly by the disastrous being itself.
Only a handful possessed such power, the Enemy of Existence itself, the Seven deadly Sins and the royalties of the Nether.
It was the same as Divinity but more strict in its power disposition.
Yet who is he? Archangel Gabriel knew all the Devils yet this kid before her had not been marked by him.
This boy also possessed an eccentric soul, she could not decipher it but it has no innate nature of demon or devil.
It was seemingly something more disturbing yet in a residual form.
She couldn't describe it but knew it was worse.
Yet her past and future self would not let her be.
Both sides whispering into her ears, one a soothing voice bustling with harmony.
The other, riddled with despair and selfishness.
Yes, What an absolute weight upon her shoulders.
Her present state , not the time bound one, but her true state was devious.
She has fallen..
A bridge between Divinity and Iniquity.
She could not cry yet her body begged her to do so.
The wails of the inhabitants of creation crying out to her for help. To rid them of their sorrow and not let evil enroach them.
She had vowed, that was the oath she swore when she became a high ranking angel yet...
Yet...
" Yet, u fall. You fall not out of objection or defiance of assignments but simply because of you.". Kato stated.
In an instant she looked up at him..that split second.
That very statement, shattered her belief, crumbling it to dust instantly.
At once, the realities collapsed. The vacuum began to crack.
An electrifying wave washed over her body, and her bones begun to melt.
Her wails resounding and it's pitch intensifying.
The fire rekindled, set ablaze with burning determination, fiercer than before.
Everything collapsed into her, as a consequence for losing the battle.
The weight of the star sequence, the guilt of her defiance and the consequences of breaking the rule of existence crashed upon her.
The thoughts, nightmares and devastating realities Kato experienced instantly became hers.
The souls of the dead that Kato has killed , instantly clung unto her eating her whole.
She struggled to break free but failed.
Her arm finally leaving the chest of Kato.
Her wings viciously ripped apart, her feathers fluttering before her.
She could scream no longer, her throat had been eaten.
Her blood had now turned black.
What a devious being!. She stared towards Kato, of whom seemed unmoved at the slightest.
His eyes, red and maddened with despair.
She could not comprehend him, no wonder her sister lost.
She could not help but beg the question, who he was?.
As more realities manifested upon her, a large crucifix fell from a void in the vacuum shattering her lower body half from her upper half.
Her arms has been ripped off, and her face slowly being chewed up.
She has served for years! Thousands of years, she has even lost count.
Starting as a baby in the heavens to her state when she has her divinity.
Yet why?.
And what did he mean by she was the cause of her fall?.
She knew the answer, she is aware she knows yet she can't seem to recall or even bring the answer to memory.
But what she couldn't fathom was why her sister was killed?
And why did the gods assign her to her sister's killer?.
She literally did everything according to their orders....down to her interfering with Kato's runic spell to send the sister to the Nether.
Why did she fall? Why was her sister killed? And him...
She gazed at him, as he looked her in the eyes.
Why does he connect to all this? And why do these so called gods even work with a possessor of Iniquity?
She was never told.
He smiled.
At once, Seraphina felt a rush of disgust amongst her pain and brutal butchery.
" I see." Kato spoke, his voice piercing through the gnarls and violent sounds of her ripping flesh.
" I'll spare you." He said.
