The current senior students representative Drast, and the first-year student challenger Severin stood across from one another at the center of the ring.
Drast was a tall, broad shouldered young man with short black hair and grey eyes as sharp as drawn steel. He wore wide legged navy pants, fitted black shirt, a long haori jacket with subtle patterns, and traditional sandals.
At his waist rested his choice of weapon. A sheathed katana tied with a simple cloth.
Across from him was Severin. His appearance was a sharp contrast to not only Drast, but everyone who came to witness this duel.
He was leaner, shorter and his boyish face gave off none of the gravitas one might expect of a challenger. He seemed way too relaxed, smugly so.
His clothing was a white formal wear suit which looked rather expensive. His shoulder length silver hair flailed in the wind, while his hands remained buried deep in his pockets.
