From the murmurs of the crowd, a booming voice rose above it them all, calling for attention.
The announcer was a young man of average stature with a buzz cut. Compared to the two with him, he didn't really stand out in terms of appearance.
But he made up with that with his extrovert personality which allowed him to command attention with ease. He stood proudly in the open circle.
"Before moving things along, let's first give our extreme gratitude to the Headmaster for approving this duel!"
He raised an arm toward the looming structure overlooking the academy grounds, pointing directly to a window of the Headmaster. All eyes turned toward it and gave loud shouts of gratitude.
Connie squinted his eyes hard but the figure inside was shrouded in shadows so he couldn't make out his full appearance.
