"Yawwwn.." I opened my eyes to the sunlight that blasted through my bedroom curtain, which covered the balcony door.
Squinting my eyes to protect it from the sunlight I sat up on my bed looking around my spacious room with nothing besides my bed that was messed up from last night's sleep, cupboards filled with clothes, a desk and chair for studying with a night light set up plus a open book with writing inside. A calendar hang up on the wall a little higher than the night light and a night stand next to my bed that had a alarm clock, my phone and charger on it.
Adjusting to the light I moved to the edge of the bed looking down, I saw a carpet with my slippers on it. Putting it on I walked towards the balcony door that I was already facing.
Reaching the door I brushed the curtain to the side and slid the glass door open.
Immediately the cold morning air and bright sun touched my face. The curtain started fluttering wildly with my black hair moving along. Taking a step outside I closed the door behind me and walked to the balcony railing.
Looking out into the sky I realized the sun was still rising, red and orange colors painted around it.
"It must still be early.. maybe 5 or 6.. enough time to train then..." I thought looking down into the yard that was trimmed neatly, the grass even and ground smooth.
'it's been around ten years, since I've been here. I'm 18 now. Jin and I have to go to sky high today for us to be interviewed or something..' I thought walking back inside my room and sat on my bed. Reaching for my phone on the night stand I picked it up and turned it on.
It came on, showing the time and date.. '5:34, 2nd of September..." Looking at the background of the screen I saw the usual pick saying 'stay out my phone.' with black surrounding the white words. Unlocking my phone I checked my notifications to see nothing but some social media notifications of people liking a post I had recently made.
Clearing the notifications I went on to my messages and nothing besides Jin message from last night that we'll meet 9 o'clock was unread.
"Hmm, he must not have woken up yet. Well I'll train for a bit then."I said closing my phone and putting it into the pocket of my soft long black pajama pants that matched my black jersey.
4 hours later.
I stood in front Jin's house that still locked the same as it did 10 years ago. Walking up to the front door I knocked. Once then twice. Until I heard a voice I recognized as Jin say.
"Coming." A few seconds after saying that he came out, looking much taller and mature than he did ten years ago, however his blonde hair, gray eyes and smile had stayed the same.
"Yo man, just gimme a minute gotta grab my shoes." Saying that he rushed back inside in his gray long pants and white shirt looking as though he was going for a job interview.
Walking in after him I looked at the tidey joining room then couch he sat on, tying his laces
"We're early still you know." I said looking at him hurriedly tying the laces on his shoes.
"Wait for real? What's the time?" Jin asked pausing to look at me.
"Umm it's.. shit 9:23!" I said looking down at my wrist where a silver watch was attached.
"Damn we really are late.. we got to be at the school by 10 and it takes around 30 minutes without traffic to reach there." Jin said thinking about how bad it would look to not get to the school on time.
"Hey at least we'll only be late by a couple minutes. Plus other people have to go before us right." I said trying to calm him down.
"Oh yeah.. wait no! My mom's last name is Axcel!"
"So what?" I asked not understanding the importance of his name.
"If they call by alphabetical order.. my name will be one of the first if they use my mom's last name." Jin said seemingly panicking more as he finished tying his lassens. Standing up to face me he gave me a look and smiled.
"Damn, do we have too?" I asked looking at him with a smile knowing exactly what he was implying.
"Well it's the only way to reach there on time." He said as he began walking towards the door.
"Well I guess we have no choice." I said as I resigned myself to following him.
Reaching outside we stood in front his house facing each other he asked me..
"Ready to fly?" With a grin on his face.
"Let's go before we really are late" I chuckled replying to him.
Jin then actived his ability to make us weightless and then reversed the flow of gravity around us, pushing us upwards into the air.
In the air now Jin aligned himself right in front of me. His foot facing my face and looked back at me. Understanding what he wanted I balanced my self in the air and then placed my foot against his own. I gathered strength in my foot and then pushed him away. With the extra force I added he began flying towards the schools direction. Adjusting his direction when needed through his gravity manipulation and intensifying the force of gravity to speed up over time.
While I created a flying skate board and began following him eventually catching up. We began doing tricks and racing to the school.
At the pace we flew at we reached the school in 15 minutes.
Giving us enough time to sit in room where about another hundred other people or so were already seated.
Sitting in the last row me and Jin looked around looking for anything that looked interesting.
Soon though names started being called. "Carl T..!" "Jin Taiju!" Jin's name came and he was guided to a next room by a man in a black suit.
3rd pov:
After several questions since entering the room and taking a seat opposite the man in the black suit, Jin was asked the final and arguably the least important question.
"Young man what do you wish to accomplish if you got into our school?" The man asked.
" I wish to become strong enough to protect what matters to me and become the hero the world needs." Jin said his resolve showing in his eyes.
With that Jin was allowed to leave after the man said he would be sent a letter on weather he was accepted or not in 6 days.
After hearing that Jin stood up, nodded to the man and left.
He went back to his and Ryouto's seating area. Where Ryouto was still sitting looking around at everyone around him.
Seeing him coming Ryouto asked... "Oh you done already?"
"Yeah it was fast. Just a couple of questions. Nothing much." Jin replied to his red eyed friend as he took his seat next to him.
"Oh that's good. We won't be stuck here whole day then." Ryouto said looking relieved.
Time flew by and pretty fast and soon it was Ryouto's turn.
"Ryouto Saiketsu!" A different man in black called out the next person he was supposed to interview.
Hearing his name Ryouto got up and walked into the room the man guided him too where it looked exactly like the one Jin was in earlier, a table two chairs and files on top the table listing various potential student info.
Ryouto was asked the same questions as Jin leading up to the the final question.
"What do you wish to accomplish if you got into our school?"
"I would like to become stronger so I can carry my family's name with pride and I would also like to gain the qualifications to become a top class detective.
Authors note: Jin has two last names. So his full name is Jin Axcel Taiju.
