Standing before Goku was his eternal rival, Vegeta, the Prince of All Saiyans. Still hovering in the sky, he surveyed his surroundings, taking in the situation.
"Kakarot, that appearance suits you perfectly," Vegeta said, looking down at Goku with a mocking smirk.
"Hahaha! Well, it's not so bad once you get used to it," Goku replied, rubbing the back of his head and laughing.
"Always so carefree... it truly irritates me," Vegeta muttered, scowling.
Everyone present was bewildered by the appearance of this unknown individual who had knocked out Riser in an instant. Without another word, Vegeta transformed into a Super Saiyan, shocking the onlookers who had never seen another person with such power.
"Now, let's see if you've grown soft staying in this pathetic place," Vegeta said with his trademark confident grin.
Goku gave a similar smile and rose into the sky, ready for what was coming. "You guys should move back for safety," Goku warned Rias and the others.
"But—" Rias started, only to be interrupted by Ddraig.
"Gremory girl, you'd better listen to the lad. The energies those two are emitting are greater than the God of the Bible and the Dragon Kings combined," the Red Dragon told her.
"Goku, be careful," Rias whispered. She and her clan moved to where Medaka and Tiamat were standing.
The two warriors stared each other down, the tension thick in the air. The duel between the strongest began instantly as Vegeta made the first move. He fired an energy blast that Goku easily deflected, but it was merely a distraction for a follow-up punch. Goku dodged it with ease.
Blows were exchanged in both directions at blinding speeds. The spectators watched, mesmerized. Suddenly, the two locked hands in a test of strength; the power generated created lightning dancing between their palms, and the sky roared under the pressure. The barrier couldn't hold and shattered, returning them to the original Kuoh Academy grounds, but the two warriors didn't care.
As if reading each other's minds, they both released the pressure and threw a simultaneous punch, impacting each other and sending both flying backward.
"I think it's time to stop the warm-up, don't you, Kakarot?" Vegeta said.
"I agree. Let's get serious," Goku replied, thrilled by the fight.
Vegeta thrust his hand forward. "BIG BANG ATTACK!" A massive sphere of energy surged toward Goku, who caught it with both hands. The pressure was incredible, but Goku, with a vein throbbing on his forehead, redirected the blast into the sky, where it exploded, sending powerful shockwaves across the horizon.
Rias and the others couldn't believe that everything up until that point had just been a "warm-up."
"The monstrous power in that attack... if it had hit, it could have erased a continent at the very least," Sirzechs noted, terrified by their might.
"Wow! Did you see that, guys? I want to do something like that in the future!" Medaka cheered, exhilarated.
"Haaa... Medaka, you really don't know fear, do you?" Rias sighed.
"Goku-san will win, right?" Asia asked worriedly.
"Don't worry, Asia. Goku will never lose; he promised to protect us forever," Raynare replied, though she felt a knot of unease in her chest.
"Partner, watch this fight closely. We are witnessing something we may never see again," Ddraig told Issei. "I know, Ddraig. I know," Issei replied.
The battle became so intense that they vanished from the sight of the onlookers. Only the sounds of powerful impacts echoed like bombs, and craters appeared out of nowhere in the terrain.
IN THE HEAVENS
In another realm, the Angels watched the battle as if the end of the world were arriving. Michael, the current leader of Heaven, was impressed that beings from other worlds possessed such ease in destroying planets.
"I believe once this is over, we must meet with the being called Son Goku," Michael said.
"Fufufu... I'll be waiting for that moment," replied the most beautiful woman in Heaven.
BACK AT THE FIGHT...
The fight reached its climax. Both knew they had to finish, or the world wouldn't be able to withstand much more. They reappeared in everyone's sight, both sporting similar minor injuries.
"Let's end this, Kakarot," Vegeta challenged.
"Fine by me," Goku answered.
The two prepared their ultimate attacks. "FINAL—" Vegeta shouted, gathering an obscene amount of energy. "KA-ME-HA-ME—" Goku gathered energy at his side.
The world trembled. The sea grew wild, the earth cracked, and the sky turned black as lightning struck down. "FLASH!" "HAAA!"
The attacks collided with such force that a massive gale was created. They were perfectly matched. For an instant, both pushed into Super Saiyan 2, causing the attacks to explode and sending both warriors crashing into the ground.
Rias ran toward the impact site, fearing the worst. But her fears were groundless as both Saiyans emerged from the rubble with torn clothes and slight bruises.
"Wow, Vegeta, you've gotten a lot stronger since the last time I saw you," Goku said, beaming.
"Hmph. You didn't think you'd be the strongest forever, did you?" the Prince replied, satisfied despite his attitude.
"Goku-san, let me heal you!" Asia cried, running toward them.
"Thanks, Asia. Hey, Vegeta, come here and let Asia heal you too," Goku called out. Vegeta watched as a large group of beautiful women approached Goku.
"Kakarot... who are all these women?" Vegeta asked.
As Asia healed them, the girls introduced themselves.
"Pleased to meet you, Mr. Vegeta. My name is Rias Gremory, and I am Goku's girlfriend," Rias said. Vegeta looked at Goku, who nodded.
"I am Himejima Akeno, and I am the mistress," Akeno said, licking her lips.
"I am Raynare, and I am Goku's true wife," Raynare added, making a vein pop on Rias's forehead.
"I am Kurokami Medaka, and I am the second wife," Medaka said, showing her fan.
"I am Tiamat, the future mother of his children," Tiamat declared proudly.
"I am Toujo Koneko, the third wife," Koneko said, blushing.
"I am Asia Argento, and I am also one of the wives," Asia added, her face red.
"I am Grayfia, and I am the exclusive maid," Grayfia chimed in, surprising the other girls.
"Well, I'm Kiba, and I'm his student," Kiba bowed.
"I'm Issei, and in the future, I want to be just like him and have my own harem!" Issei said pervertedly, earning glares from the girls.
Vegeta was stunned. He saw no lies in their eyes; they truly loved Goku. "Kakarot... you are a pride to the Saiyans," Vegeta said, placing a hand on Goku's shoulder as he looked at all the beautiful women.
"Hahaha! Thanks, Vegeta!" Goku replied, though he didn't quite understand the "pride" part in that context.
"By the way, Vegeta, why did you come here?"
"I came to deliver a few things and to see if you still wanted to return to the place that was promised to you," Vegeta answered.
The girls panicked. Would Goku leave forever? But Goku looked at Rias and the others and smiled. "I'm not leaving, Vegeta. This world seemed disappointing at first, but now I have many important things here. I won't abandon them."
The girls lunged at him, burying him in hugs. Vegeta realized Goku had changed; he no longer thought only of finding strong people to fight. He handed Goku a box of Capsules and a bag of Senzu Beans.
"Inside the box is a gravity device Bulma made. You can install it anywhere. There are also battle suits, your Gi, food, and other things," Vegeta explained.
"That's awesome! Tell Bulma and the others thanks!"
"Well, it's time for me to go, insect," Vegeta said, now recovered. "But one day I'll return for a rematch. Count on it, Kakarot."
"I'll be waiting for that day!" Goku smiled.
Vegeta looked at the women one last time. "In the end, it's not such a bad place." He flew into the rift and vanished.
Goku turned to Sirzechs and Riser's parents. "Congratulations, Son Goku. You are now officially Rias's fiancé," the Maou said.
Goku approached him. Sirzechs offered his hand, but instead, Goku delivered a sharp punch to the Maou's gut, nearly making him double over.
"Listen closely. I don't care if you're the Maou. As her brother, you should appreciate your sister more instead of involving her in things that make her sad. If this happens again, I will eliminate you. Understand?"
Sirzechs nodded painfully. "It wasn't my doing, but our father's..."
"Seems like I need to pay your father a visit then, Rias. I'll be back in a bit," Goku said with a dangerous glint in his eyes. Everyone immediately jumped on him to hold him back.
And so, life returned to a "normal" routine for our hero—though they had no idea that a grand event was approaching that would involve all three factions.
