The Celestial Court – Hikarishi-dō (光裁堂)
A hall carved from radiant starlight and floating crystal pillars, where gods and Titans pass judgment in echoes older than time.
🌓 Prelude: Before the Judgment
Xou Wong, daughter of the rain and moon, stood alone.
The Celestial Court had summoned her for defying divine law — for choosing love with Fuceng, god of fire, and bearing a child beyond approval. The whispers called her "the Shamed Rain," "the Betrayer of Sky Bonds."
But before the trial, two gods came to her side.
Jiaolong Cheng – The Storm's Calm. Her grandfather stood on the high terrace beneath the Rain Arches. His robes shimmered with ocean-blue threads, and his storm-worn eyes carried more silence than fury.
Jiaolong:
"I once held the tides in silence…
but you, granddaughter, broke the sky with a song."
He held her hand — salt meeting rain.
"You are not their mistake.
You are the daughter of a choice they were too afraid to make.
And no court, even of stars, can judge your heart."
🌙 Yami – The Voice in Dreams
In the dream-hall that night, Yami visited her.
Not with words — but with a garden of silver lilies that bloomed from her shadow.
She whispered into Xou's sleeping thoughts:
"You are the moon's breath, and love's defiance.
Let them judge your voice — but never your silence."
When Xou woke, her hair shimmered silver with starlight.
She walked into the Court without bowing.
⚖️ The Court of Heavens
Yazilong, King of the Gods, watched from the golden throne.
Sora, serene and unreadable.
Xie, her father, silent behind a veil of rainbow tears.
But Xou Wong did not defend herself.
She stepped to the center and raised her voice:
"I was not born to obey.
I was born to become something you could never control.
And I loved not to rebel — but because I knew myself."
And the court, heavy with silence, said nothing.
But Sora, quiet queen of dawn, finally rose and spoke:
"Let the rain fall as it chooses."
Judgment was not forgiveness — but it was freedom.
🎆 The Festival of Silver Rain (白雨の祭り – Hakuu no Matsuri)
When she returned, the people of the mortal and divine realms gathered. Not for war — but for celebration.
In the valley where moonlight meets rivers, they held the first Festival of Silver Rain, honoring her courage and story.
The sky wept gentle light-rain, kissed with flame.
Jiaolong Cheng stood beside her, offering a crown of seagrass and storm pearls.
Yami lit a lantern in the sky, shaped like a crescent heart.
Even Xie, her father, descended in secret and placed a single silver ring in the offering waters.
"For all vows broken," he whispered, "some are born again."
Now each year, on the night of silver rain, the gods and mortals alike release lanterns into the sky — made of fire, lit by rain — to remember that truth is sometimes born from rebellion, and light is not always lawful.
And the children sing beneath the rain:
"She is the moon that loved the flame.
She is the rain that found its name."
Location: Celestial Garden Court of Tenryūkai
A radiant palace above the heavens where the divine council gathers — walls of gold flame, sky-lotus gardens, and rivers of starlight. The gods debate fate, order, and punishment here. It is sacred and absolute.
When the Goddess of Moon and Rain, Xou Wong (蒼雨 翔), stepped into the Celestial Court for the first time, all eyes turned.
She was born of Azan, God of the Sun, and Jiaolong Cheng, God of the Sea and Storms — daughter of sky and sea, light and flood.
Her twin, Azan, burned with brilliance.
She, however, moved like falling rain in moonlight — quiet, graceful, but hiding endless sorrow in her eyes.
"A moon within the tide. A storm within the silence."
– Sora, Goddess of Dawn
To many gods, she was a symbol of prophecy, the balance between flame and water, and a granddaughter of the Sea, descended from Jiaolong Cheng.
She became the youngest deity to join the council — and instantly, three gods vied for her heart.
Fuceng, son of Zenaku Chi and Suzi — heir of fire, war, and divine rebellion.
He was wild, untamed, often called "the flame that disobeys its lantern."
He saw Xou Wong not as fragile, but as someone who could extinguish him, or warm him.
He loved her not in silence, but in storms. He wrote no poetry. He bled for her in battles against monsters just to see her smile.
But Azure, son of Shang and Hotoke — the God of Wrath, keeper of divine punishments — wanted her not for love, but for legacy.
He saw her as the final balance to his rage, someone to contain the fury of the gods. He offered her a throne beside him.
"With you beside me, even Judgment will fear us."
– Azure
She refused.
Instead, on the night of an eclipse, as fire rained from the sky in a divine festival, Xou Wong vanished with Fuceng, fleeing to the secret realm of Tsukiyuki no Mori — the Forest of Moon and Snow.
They lived in exile, hidden by her grandfather Jiaolong Cheng, who defied the council to protect his granddaughter.
There, in silence, Yuzi Li Chun was born, the child of flame and moonlight, carrying in him the slumbering chaos of the gods.
When Azure learned of the union, he set fire to half of the Southern Celestial Fields, slaying five lesser gods, and nearly breaking the Heavenly Bridge.
He vowed to claim the child or burn the mother.
But Yang, God of Peace, intervened:
"You do not rage for love, Azure.
You rage because she chose warmth — not fear."
Azure never forgave.
And deep in the caverns of the Wrath Forge, he began shaping a new weapon…
One that could pierce the child of prophecy.
