It felt like I had been walking for forever and a day, putting one foot in front of another, blinded to everything other than the vast whiteness in front of me.
I squinted my eyes, trying to block out the harsh light as it reflected off each individual snowflake.
Every part of my body was hurting, and I was pretty sure that all this cold wasn't good for my period. Even if I couldn't feel it. I wasn't sure how the nanos were dealing with it all. All that I knew was that I didn't need any products and I didn't have to change out anything.
The blood simply disappeared.
Which was good considering that there weren't any washrooms nearby for me to sneak into.
My suit and the nanos in my system also seemed to have done something about my need for food, water, or to use the washroom for other reasons besides cleaning myself up. I wasn't hungry or thirsty, no matter how long I went without food. It was a neat trick, I just hoped it didn't cause me to lose too much weight.
