Raising her eyes to look at Angel's worried little face, Yan Xiaye hesitated for a moment, "Do you want me to ask for you?"
"Can you?"
Angel fiddled with the bow, saying anxiously, "Will Cass be angry? He's really scary when he's mad."
"If you're very concerned, I'll go and ask for you." With a reassuring smile at Angel, Yan Xiaye helped her lie down and tucked her in, "You have a good rest, I'll go check it out."
Angel nodded her little head heavily, her bright eyes looking back at Yan Xiaye, "Thank you, Miss Yan."
"Goodbye."
Yan Xiaye waved at her and tiptoed out of the room.
In the magnificent corridor, Cass was standing in front of an open window, thoughtfully holding a cigar, while Austin was nowhere to be seen.
Wondering how to broach the subject, Yan Xiaye intentionally slowed her steps, stopping about half a meter away from Cass, hesitantly asking: "Can I ask on Angel's behalf where Austin has gone?"
