Chapter 220 - Chapter 220: Practical Exam (6)

[Third Person's PoV]

Tony soon settled into one of the seats, his curiosity piqued as he leaned forward, eager to see how the students would fare against their pro-hero opponents. The tactical nature of these battles fascinated him—every move, every reaction, was a reflection of their growth.

Melissa casually walked up and took the seat to his left, her expression one of focused anticipation. On his right, Momo quietly sat down, her hands folded on her lap as her sharp eyes studied the monitors before them. The rest of the group sat nearby, all equally captivated by what was unfolding on the screen.

They mainly focused their attention to Kirishima and Rikidou Satou, who were working together in a surprising display of raw power and teamwork. Kirishima had fully activated his Hardening Quirk—his skin looked jagged and almost rock-like, his eyes seemingly made of stone. His entire body was turned into a living shield. Satou, his muscles bulging from the effects of his Sugar Rush, was carrying Kirishima like a human battering ram.

"That's one way to do it…" Tony said with a faint chuckle.

The cement walls shattered instantly due to Satou's strength and Kirishima's sturdiness. Seeing that the cement walls weren't doing anything Cementoss merely summoned a wave of liquid cement tempting to engulf them.

"Throw me!!"

They all saw Kirishima mouthed, although it was clearly a yell. With a deafening roar, Satou sprinted forward with massive, ground-shaking strides, veins bulging as he poured his strength into the charge. His foot slammed down with such force that cracks spiderwebbed out from the impact zone, imprinting his step into the pavement.

Then, with a powerful yell, he launched Kirishima forward like a missile. Kirishima curled his arms over his face and braced for impact as he was hurled through the air with terrifying momentum.

Kirishima smashing through a rising wave of cement created by Cementoss, who had been trying to entrap them with a quick attack. The fluid-like cement swallowed Satou behind him, but Kirishima powered through it, punching a hole clean through the wave.

He tackled Cementoss mid-air with a massive thud, the two of them tumbling across the training field. Cementoss, caught off guard, hit the ground hard. The moment his senses returned, he heard the distinct click of metal—his wrist was cuffed.

Tony nodded slowly, clearly impressed. "That was honestly quite good… The timing, the execution—it was solid."

"I agree, Kirishima has definitely grown stronger," Melissa said with a faint smile.

glanced at another monitor before speaking, her tone cautious. "I'm more worried about Denki and Mina… Principal Nezu seems to be enjoying himself a bit too much in that custom suit you made for him, Tony."

The group followed her gaze, and their eyes widened. On the screen, Denki and Mina were fleeing with everything they had, explosions erupting around them as a barrage of miniature rockets soared after them. The camera panned to Nezu, who was flying above the battlefield, laughing maniacally. His large frame zipped through the air, arms outstretched like a conquering warlord reveling in chaos.

The blasts rocked the environment, sending chunks of debris flying in all directions as smoke and fire blanketed the area behind the two students.

"Oh no…" Melissa winced. "Yeah, there's no way they're passing. They really got the short end of the stick on this one."

'Oh my god… They would have most likely passed if I hadn't made Nezu that suit…' Tony thought to himself, inwardly cringing while slightly amused, 'I'm so sorry…'

"What's Uraraka doing?" Midoriya questioned.

Everyone then turned towards where he was pointing and saw Uraraka, with her hand on her wrist, her other hands pointing forwards towards thirteen.

She was sending a pink pulse after pink pulse of her quirk towards Thirteen thanks to her super suit Tony had created for her.

Midoriya pointed to another screen. "What about Uraraka? What's she doing over there?"

Everyone turned to watch. Uraraka was standing confidently with one hand on her wrist-mounted device, the other extended forward. Her fingertips glowed softly with energy, firing controlled pulses of her Quirk in rapid succession.

"She's using her suit's modifications to counter Thirteen's black hole Quirk!" Melissa explained excitedly. "Tony designed it so she could fire her Zero-gravity in concentrated bursts. Normally, a black hole would bend light and pull everything into it, but she's neutralizing that gravitational pull by dispersing the gravitons around it with her quirk. It's genius!"

On the screen, Thirteen struggled to maintain control of the vacuum effect. Her attacks seemed ineffective as the pink waves disrupted the gravitational pull. While she was distracted, Aoyama appeared from the side, moving swiftly, and in one fluid motion, clamped a pair of cuffs on her wrist.

"She's learning to use her gear tactically," Tony said with a proud smile. "It's good to see her taking initiative like that."

"Don't forget you promised to make me a suit too," Bakugo growled, narrowing his eyes at Tony with a sharp intensity.

"Yeah, yeah, don't worry, I remember. I always keep my promises," Tony said with an eye roll, leaning back casually.

"Suit? For what?" Melissa asked, blinking as she turned toward them. The others leaned in, curiosity piqued—especially Deku, who looked utterly confused.

"What exactly did you promise him?"

Tony shrugged, his expression nonchalant. "We made a bet. It was about who could take down Endeavor—Bakugo or me. I lost."

"WHAT?!" came the unified shout of disbelief from nearly everyone in the room, the sheer volume echoing off the walls just as Kirishima and Satou entered.

Both boys stopped in their tracks, blinking at the unexpected chaos. Their expressions morphed into shock as they heard Todoroki speak up, his voice cool but sharp, "Are you saying Bakugo... took down my father?"

"Wait, wait, what did we just walk into?" Kirishima asked, looking between them in disbelief.

"It sounds important," Satou added as Recovery Girl began examining him.

"WHY ARE YOU ALL ACTING SURPRISED!?" Bakugo exploded, his voice rising with sheer frustration as he glared at the room like he was ready to detonate.

Tony scoffed with a smirk. "It really wasn't that impressive. Endeavor knocked Bakugo down first, but he was so mesmerized—and let's be honest, terrified—by my armor's spectacular design that he didn't realize Bakugo was still conscious. Bakugo just crawled up and cuffed the guy's legs. That was it."

"NOT THAT IMPRESSIVE!? I'LL REARRANGE YOUR FACE AND YOU TELL ME IF THAT'S IMPRESSIVE OR NOT, YOU ARROGANT ASSHOLE!" Bakugo roared, lunging forward.

Deku and Todoroki scrambled to restrain him, each grabbing an arm as he fought against them like a wild beast.

"Yikes… he sounds mad," came a playful voice from seemingly nowhere.

Everyone jumped, startled, as a figure suddenly shimmered into view.

"Toru?!" Melissa gasped, watching as the invisible girl revealed herself with a peace sign and a mischievous grin.

"I didn't even detect you…" Tony muttered with genuine wariness. "Did I… accidentally make you too overpowered?"

"You did," Shouji replied as he stepped into the room behind her, his large frame almost blocking the entrance. "I didn't even get a chance to lift a finger. Toru took out Snipe before he ever saw her coming."

"Heh," Toru said smugly, rubbing her invisible nose in pride. "Ooh! Look at Kaminari go!"

Everyone turned toward the monitor, their curiosity spiking.

Tony leaned forward slightly, an intrigued eyebrow raised as he watched the display.

Mina was launching clouds of acid upward, intercepting incoming mini-rockets with precise timing. The explosions created clouds of smoke, shielding them from view. Meanwhile, Denki zipped through the building like a lightning bolt, surging with energy, wild sparks discharging all around him as he sprinted.

Mina quickly altered her acid, making it extra sticky. She fired a concentrated spray that latched onto Nezu's airborne exosuit. With a fierce tug, she pulled downward.

Nezu sliced the acid strand with a sharp swipe of his arm, but it was just enough to lower him into position.

From the rooftop, Denki leapt with wild eyes and a maniacal grin. "I don't really get what this means, but Tony told me to say it to boost my power."

He took a deep breath.

"PIKA PIKA!!"

With that war cry, Denki unleashed a monstrous surge of electricity. Bolts arced and danced across Nezu's exosuit, lighting up the sky and short-circuiting the entire control panel.

The suit's systems blared red warnings. Sparks erupted, steam hissed, and thick black smoke poured from the joints. Then the entire suit spiraled out of control and slammed into the ground with a metallic crash.

Denki was launched from the wreckage but landed in a roll. Mina skated forward on a trail of acid, sliding to the downed suit and quickly cuffing Nezu's limbs before he could recover.

The camera zoomed in on their grinning faces as they stood triumphantly over Nezu's smoking suit.

"YAY! WE DID IT!!" they shouted in unison.

They gave each other two high fives, linked arms, and spun in a victory dance around the unconscious Nezu.

Everyone in the observation room sat frozen, mouths agape in stunned silence.
