My husband takes care of the morning court again. I know he can handle them much better now. It's also a transition of giving the full power to him. It's still better if the ruler were a man.
After all, my husband listens to me. He let me take care and get involved in civil affairs. That is enough for me.
"Chen Da Xi, if the emperor comes back, tell him that I went out and visited his family," I remarked. I look at Su Gia and Ren Jia. "The two of you will come with me," I stated.
I look at He Ying. "Xi'er, after you tell the emperor where I am, bring He Ying with you. Take the list that I made and go to the market."
They bow their heads. "Understood, Your Majesty," they replied.
"The money in the bigger pouch is for the things you need to buy, and the smaller one is for the two of you. You can buy things that you want for yourselves."
Chen Da Xi and He Ying look at each other. "Thank you, Your Majesty!" they both exclaimed and giggled. That made me smile.
