Noah ended up staying the night as neither Andrew nor Maxwell wanted to send the man home as drunk as he was. He had gotten more drunk as the night went on, clearly happy to be around people that cared about him.
Maxwell was glad that Andrew had someone to dote on for the night, and felt like he was only benefitting from Noah coming over. Andrew was very touchy-feely. Wanting to show off Maxwell to his brother, and also just wanting Maxwell around.
That meant that the man was holding him close, pulling Maxwell into his lap when they were in the living room, staring at Maxwell when he thought not one else was watching. Overall, the man wasn't able to contain his love for Maxwell, and that suited him just fine.
Maxwell felt like if the two of them weren't as intoxicated as they were, they would have seen how Maxwell was glowing under the other man's attention. He knew that Andrew was going to be sad that he missed it, but he wasn't quite sure that Noah was.
