Chapter 22 - Adjusting to Academy Life

The first month at the ninja academy had flown by, and Aryan had already begun to adjust to his new routine. With his days now filled with academy classes, he had to make some significant changes to his daily schedule.

Aryan decided to cancel his self-study sessions and the afternoon study time with his mother to accommodate his academy responsibilities. Instead, he now dedicated his mornings and evenings to more intensive training.

In the mornings, Aryan continued his workouts, but now he trained alone. He focused on the exercises his brother had taught him, incorporating the taijutsu moves they had practiced together. He also added stretches and yoga postures to maintain his flexibility and balance.

The evening training sessions with his father, Kenji, remained a crucial part of his day. Together, they worked on sword techniques, body stretching, and even basic chakra exercises, integrating the lessons Aryan had learned at the academy.

Beyond the academy, Aryan spent time exploring Konoha. He wandered through the bustling streets, visited various shops, and familiarized himself with the layout of the village. The experience was both enlightening and enjoyable, giving him a deeper connection to the place he called home.

During these explorations, Aryan observed the day-to-day lives of the villagers, understanding more about their culture and way of life. He visited the market, watched blacksmiths at work, and even visited the training grounds where older shinobi practiced. These experiences enriched his understanding of the village and its people, making him feel more rooted in his new life.

In the classroom, Aryan quickly made a name for himself. His prior knowledge, combined with his natural curiosity, allowed him to grasp the topics covered in the academy with ease. Whether it was the history of Konoha, basic ninjutsu theory, or the principles of chakra control, Aryan excelled, often impressing both his classmates and his teacher, Takashi-sensei.

His ability to ask insightful questions and offer well-thought-out answers gained him respect among his peers. Even students like Tsunade, Jiraiya, and Orochimaru, who were already known for their talents, took notice of Aryan's abilities.

The highlight of Aryan's first month at the academy came when he successfully extracted chakra for the first time. The experience was exhilarating—feeling the new, unfamiliar energy flow through his chakra pathways gave him goosebumps of excitement.

"Father, I did it! I extracted chakra for the first time!" Aryan exclaimed one evening, bursting with enthusiasm.

Kenji smiled, pleased with his son's progress. "That's excellent, Aryan. But remember, chakra extraction is just the beginning. As you grow older, your ability to extract and control chakra will improve. However, you must be cautious."

Kenji's tone turned serious as he offered a word of warning. "You need to find your limits, Aryan. Overexerting yourself can harm your body and stunt your future growth. Learn to balance your chakra use—only extract as much as your body can handle."

Aryan took his father's advice to heart, knowing the importance of maintaining his health and growth. He made a mental note to always be mindful of his chakra limits.

Aryan soon discovered that his Six Eyes ability granted him an extraordinary level of control over his chakra. With his heightened perception, he could see the flow of chakra within his body with remarkable clarity. This precision allowed him to control the flow of chakra with far greater accuracy than most students at the academy.

This newfound precision thrilled Aryan. He realized that mastering chakra control, which often took other students years, would come more easily to him. This would allow him to focus his efforts on other aspects of his training, such as mastering different jutsu and refining his physical abilities.

Curious about his chakra nature, Aryan conducted a chakra paper test under his father's guidance. The results were nothing short of astounding. The paper reacted to all five basic chakra natures: fire, water, earth, wind, and lightning.

Kenji watched in surprise as the paper displayed each element in turn. "Aryan, this is extraordinary. Most Uchiha have a natural affinity for fire and sometimes lightning. To have all five is almost unheard of."

Aryan was equally surprised, though he quickly saw the potential in this discovery. "I think I'll start with fire release, Father. It's the most common among the Uchiha, and I believe it will complement my medical studies."

Kenji nodded approvingly. "A wise choice, Aryan. Mastering fire release will give you a strong foundation, and combining it with medical jutsu will make you a formidable shinobi."

With his first month at the academy behind him, Aryan began to look forward to the future. He had already achieved several milestones—successfully extracting chakra, discovering his chakra affinities, and impressing his classmates and teachers. But this was just the beginning.

As Aryan lay in bed that night, he reflected on his progress and his goals. He was determined to continue honing his skills, mastering medical jutsu, and advancing his taijutsu and ninjutsu abilities. The road ahead was long, but Aryan was ready to face whatever challenges came his way.

With a clear plan in mind, Aryan drifted off to sleep, eager for what the future held. The academy had opened up a world of possibilities, and Aryan was determined to seize every opportunity to become a shinobi worthy of the Uchiha name.
