"I've already comprehended about one-tenth of the Law of Light. The progress with Time and Space isn't bad either. By applying the laws, my speed can be increased to nearly twice the speed of light."
Lyon clenched his fist, and vast power surged through every inch of his flesh and blood.
If before he could barely manage to punch and destroy the Earth, then now he could already punch and destroy Jupiter.
The gap to the next stage—destroying the Sun with a single punch—was only a thousandfold or so.
"The diameter of my inner world has now expanded to twenty million kilometers."
"But Luo Feng's inner world eventually reached a diameter of one trillion kilometers. I'm still far from that."
Lyon looked at the desolate surface of the Moon around him and suddenly had the urge to test his strength.
The surge in power made him itch to destroy something—an instinctive impulse born from becoming stronger.
He first used his bio-force field to envelop the Moon. Then he lightly stomped his foot.
The entire Moon—over seventy sextillion tons—suddenly trembled violently, as if struck dead-center by a massive celestial meteor.
Huge cracks burst open from beneath Lyon's foot, stretching like spiderwebs to the edges of his vision.
From space, the Moon now looked completely fractured. Visible fissures ran from the near side to the far side, leaving it scarred and unstable.
It was like a cookie dropped on the floor—still in one piece, but the moment you picked it up, it would fall apart.
Lyon nodded in satisfaction.
At his current level, if he didn't hold back his strength or suppress it with his bio-force field, even the smallest movement could carry enough destructive power to shatter continents.
"Not bad," he said to himself.
He suddenly thought back to a few months ago, when he woke up inside the manned spacecraft.
He'd felt just as fired up then, pushing open the hatch with one palm.
Back then, he'd naively believed he was already on par with beings like Odin or Captain Marvel.
But looking at it now, it was only at this point that he could truly be considered on par.
Well—Captain Marvel didn't count.
In the MCU, even in her Binary Mode, she didn't seem to possess star-destroying strength.
Maybe it was because she couldn't fully unleash the explosive power that came with connecting to a white hole in that state.
Of course, her potential was undeniable.
After all, in the What If...? series, the version of Captain Marvel from the multiverse did indeed shatter planets while fighting Six-Stone Ultron.
Suddenly, countless urgent cries for help rang out by Lyon's ears.
The voices were so close, it was as if they were speaking right beside him.
"Hm? Someone's calling for help from the Moon? The people here are… wait, the Inhumans?"
Lyon froze for a second.
He could hear what was happening on the far side of the Moon.
Black Bolt and his wife Medusa were organizing their citizens, trying to evacuate.
Because the intense tremor that had just rocked the Moon had destroyed a large portion of their buildings...
"This really is..." Lyon had never paid much attention to the Moon before.
The sounds coming from here had always been dismissed by him as background noise of space.
He had nearly forgotten that there was still a low-profile group of Inhumans living on the Moon.
So when he tested his strength, although he had specifically used his bio-force field to shield the Moon and prevent any impact on Earth, he had completely overlooked the people living on the far side of the Moon.
Fortunately, this was an easy fix.
Lyon had already thought of a cleanup plan from the beginning.
He raised a finger. "Reparo Maxima!"
The immense genetic energy within his body instantly converted into magic power.
He cast the Reparo Maxima spell, covering the entire Moon.
In the blink of an eye, the web-like cracks beneath Lyon's feet closed up rapidly.
The Moon's surface—and the Inhuman city of Attilan on the far side—were all restored to their original state.
Hearing the voices of the Inhumans in his ears, full of relief, confusion, and disbelief, Lyon shook his head.
"If I want to test my power next time, I'll just use the Dream-Eater arena inside the Time Fortress."
He looked back toward Earth. "Time to go home. It's only been a day—nothing should've happened."
During the breakthrough, Lyon's focus had been fully immersed in the evolution of his genes.
Unless someone like Tony called out to him with real urgency, all the sounds his super-hearing picked up would automatically be filtered out.
However, the moment he lifted that filter and allowed himself to hear the countless voices on Earth, his expression turned strange.
"Wong and Mordo? Aren't they supposed to be teaching new magic? Why are they looking for me?"
Lyon floated up, left the Moon, and in the blink of an eye, returned to Kamar-Taj.
He landed in the training courtyard, nodding in greeting to the sorcerers bowing respectfully to him as he made his way toward the inner hall.
"You all holding a meeting?"
The moment he walked in, Lyon saw the Hogwarts Four-person Study Group gathered together.
Wong was in the middle of a holographic conversation with Tony, who was in New York, asking if Lyon had returned to Earth, saying the mystical gateways couldn't locate him and wondering if he'd gone off on a cosmic journey.
Next to Wong sat Mordo and Banner in a meditative pose.
Banner was dressed in a sleeveless brown training robe, looking like a full-on yoga master.
There was a hint of heaviness between Mordo's brows.
"Lyon! You're finally back!" Wong and Mordo turned around at the sound of his voice, visibly relieved. "We couldn't find you even using the Mystic Gateways!"
"The bio-force field blocks perception. Next time, just try calling my name a few more times. So, I was only gone for a day, and I even left a message. What's got you all so worked up that you had to come find me?"
Lyon asked out of habit, "Don't tell me a dimensional demon god is attacking?"
He didn't expect Wong to look so serious this time. "Not yet—but I'm afraid we're not far off."
"Hm?" Lyon raised his eyebrows with interest. "Is it really happening?"
News of the Ancient One's death had spread to nearby dimensions the same day she was erased.
But ever since, Earth hadn't suffered any serious attacks.
At most, a few dimensional creatures had slipped through, only to be quickly dealt with by the sorcerers.
As for the demon gods—there hadn't even been a glimpse of one.
Because they all knew very clearly: as long as the three Sanctums set up by Agamotto remained standing, no demon god could enter Earth in their true form.
Lyon understood that just as well.
So he was mostly just asking casually each time.
He hadn't expected a real surprise this time.
"Which dimensional demon god?"
"Dormammu," Wong said seriously. "You should know him—he's the ruler of the Dark Dimension. If he really manages to enter Earth, the consequences would be unimaginable."
"But the three Sanctums are still intact. How could he get through?" Lyon raised an eyebrow.
"Well…" Wong led Lyon toward the inner room, planning to explain in more detail along the way.
At that moment, Tony's hologram quickly stepped forward, trying to catch up.
"Wait, hold on. You're just going to walk off? Say it here. This whole dimensional demon god invasion thing is a global threat, right? How can you not count on me to come save the day?"
"You?" Wong turned back and glanced at Tony, frowning. "This matter just needs Superman. We don't need Iron Man."
He'd gone into the city a couple of days ago and watched Iron Man & Superman Origins, and he was still annoyed at Tony for the blatant fabrication.
As if the Sorcerer Supreme of Kamar-Taj would cause a world-ending crisis in another dimension!
If it weren't for needing Tony's help to locate Lyon earlier, he would've shouted at the projection right then and there—never have I seen someone so shameless!
