Chapter 26 - Her

Her smile,

A sunbeam that banishes my shadows,

Her eyes,

Soft lanterns that awaken my joy,

Her love,

A flame that kindles the steel in me,

Her blessings,

Invisible hands holding me still,

Her care,

A breeze through the heat of my worry,

Her strength,

The wind that fills my sails,

Her heart, a haven,

Just being in it makes me feel loved.

She is the soul that walks beside mine, my truest friend,

She is the pulse beneath every beat of my heart,

She is the spark that wakes my courage,

She is the place my heart calls home,

She is the woman I admire most,

She is the story my soul was born to tell,

She is the melody that plays louder than any other,

She's the first love of my life and the truest friend of my spirit,

Not only my mother, she is the keeper of my soul.

Wherever she walks, my heart finds its rest,

A home built on gentle hands and boundless care,

In her absence, even the brightest days feel dim,

One look from her, and darkness fades away,

She is the meaning woven into the fabric of my life.

When she is sad,

My heart carries the weight of her tears,

It leaves me broken, scattered like fragile glass,

I hate it most when guilt is all I'm left with, powerless and silent,

I regret every hurt I cause when her only wish is my love,

Her sorrow pulls the strength right from my soul,

A single tear on her cheek, and my heart sinks beneath the waves,

My heart shatters each time she feels pain.

I admit, I am not always easy to handle,

And in my heart, I hold the largest apology for her,

But deep inside, I never intend the hurt those words bring,

My pain sometimes falls on her, though I never want it to,

I regret it as soon as it happens every time,

But deep down, my feelings for her are pure love and care,

All I wish for is to be the daughter she can proudly call her own,

And to give her all the love and joy she has always earned,

Let the universe be my witness,

I'll do it all, just for her.
