'Where am I?' I ask confused, staring at a giant concrete building. It covers my entire vision. As far as my eye can see. 'Where is everyone? What happened? Wait, let's think of this clearly. I need to first find out where my friend is. Let's go looking for him. He should be around here somewhere.' I walk parallel to the giant concrete wall, and there he is. I find him laying in the grass fields. "OI! Cyber! Wake up!" I call out to him. He eventually stands up, looks around confused:"Whats going on? What happened?" "I'm not entirely sure. It seems to be a zombie apocalypse, follow me." I say having figured out a few things about this world we find ourselves in.
We walked around a bit and found his parents as well. I suddenly realized that I had special abilities. I teleported all of us onto a yacht. There was food and clothes, and everything needed to stay alive on the yacht.
"You guys stay here. I am going to go and figure out exactly what happened. Once I return, we can go to an island and live out the rest of our lives there while I look for possible solutions," I say sternly. Everyone nods in agreement.
I suddenly remember, I was at the mall, searching for bags with my parents. We saw Arnold Schwarzenegger and I greeted him by shaking his hand. I walked away. I took one final look, seeing him smile and signing the notebook of a little girl. It appeared that he was looking straight through me. 'How cool it would be if I had a picture with him. My friend Ashbourne would be so jealous.' I thought to myself. I then turned around:" Mister Arnold. May I take a picture with you?" he nodded his head, and we took a picture. I then realized how empty the entire mall had suddenly become. He looked at me with a serious look:" If you want to stop the apocalypse, you have start at the tower where phase 1 began. The tower is right over there," he said in a serious tone, pointing towards a large laboratory.
'What does he mean phase 1? It's fine, I'll just follow him and see where he takes me. If it stops the apocalypse, it can't be that bad.' We stop in front of the building. He teleports us inside to a room where there is a giant human-sized cage, and a bunch of broken lab equipment.
I see everything becoming hazy. I soon realize that he was showing me the "memory" of what took place here. I see a zombie inside the cage, and a bunch of scientists studying it. I see as 1 guy walks up to the cage, and injects something into the zombie. "This should give him back his consciousness," says 1 lady in the back. The guy injecting it replies:"If not, we might just have to kill him." I see a third lady crying in the corner, being consoled by a few of her co-workers. I then looked back at the cage as the guy finished injecting the strange serum into the zombie. The zombie fell to his knees, looked up, then leaped against the bars and tried to grab the guy. Once it realized that it failed, it started bending the bars with raw strength. Everyone panicked and started calling people. The zombie mutated to 4 times it's former size. It broke free from the cage and started ripping the people apart. The haziness then faded, and i understood exactly how the apocalypse started. Science experiments gone wrong.
'I have to take my friends to a safe place soon. If phase 1 is this, then phase 2 will start soon. I don't know if I'll have my abilities during phase 2 as well, so I should make sure to get the most out of it now.' I thought to myself as I teleported my friend to me. "Cyber," I say in a stern tone, "You guys have to leave right now. The zombies are about to get a thousand times worse. Trust me. Just head straight east. The nearest island is east, and it should be the safest for now. Phase 2 is going to begin anytime soon." He nods his head and then asks confused:" Phase 2?" I remember that he doesn't know about phase 2 yet so i start explaining:"Phase 1 is the zombies we have right now. There seems to be a second form. It was originally unlocked through a serum, however it seems that all the zombies are about to become 4 times bigger, and-" 'DANGER. DANGER. OUT OF THE WAY.'
I throw my friend toward the window reflexively as i get the warning and jump towards the window. I then feel a gush of air pass behind me. I turn around to see the original zombie running head first into a wall. It looks at me, and then starts to dash towards me again at inhuman speeds. I see Arnold step into the way, grabbing it's hands into his and wrestling it. "GO NOW! I'LL HOLD IT OFF HERE! YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN STOP IT NOW!" He says struggling to hold back the monster. I then realize that i missed the window, and my friend was in fact still in the building. Arnold grabs him, throws him out with me, and then gets bitten. He falls to his knees, and accepts his fate. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" i scream at the top of my lungs as i fall from the top floor. I see everything fade to black...
'What? Wait where am I?' I say grabbing my sweat drenched chest. 'Oh it was all just a dream. But why was it so realistic? I better call Cyber and find out if everything is still okay.'
After a few hours of confirming that this was indeed reality, I sit down at my desk and turn on my computer. 'I better type it out and see what it means. I'll do some research on possible meanings at a later time. What is most important right now, is writing down exactly what i can remember.'
After a few hours, i turn off the computer, and go back to bed.
