Synopsis
This is a fan-made sequel to the original Radiata Stories video game. In this tale, there are two timelines that are on the brink of extinction, barely holding on. The angels, tasked with maintaining order, have grown weary and fallen into a deep slumber. Yet, even in the darkest moments, a glimmer of light remains. Occasionally, a few stars revisit these timelines, drawn by nostalgia. During one such visit, an angel stirs from its sleep, becoming aware of itself as it guides the star through the timeline. But eventually the star returns to the starry heavens, leaving behind the awakened angel, who desperately tries to revive the worlds of Radiata Stories.

Chapter 1 - AWAKENING TO THE NEW

High above the dark realm of clouds, distant stars flicker faintly, their light just barely piercing the void. Suddenly, a few of these stars surge forward, their brilliance intensifying as they illuminate the realm.

They soar past two massive enchanted cubes, each containing a sleeping angel—one with light wings, the other with dark wings. The stars continue their journey, weaving through clouds and passing by floating, slumbering angels, who begin to awaken one by one.

The stars then approach a long, delicate thread representing the timeline of Radiata Stories. As they enter this timeline, the now-awake angels, weary but determined, use their magic to preserve order, ensuring that any visiting star stays true to the original story.

The stars journey along the timeline, splitting apart as the path divides into two: the human path and the non-human path. They travel to the very end of each timeline before reuniting and soaring back into the distant night sky.

As the stars fade into the distance, all the angels gradually return to their slumber. One of the last awake angels lies on his cloud, watching the stars grow smaller and smaller until they join up with the other distant stars. Finally, the angel closes his eyes, and the realm is once again enveloped in darkness.

Suddenly, a blue light washes over the angel's face, growing brighter and larger, though it only faintly illuminates the realm. Slowly, the angel opens his eyes and sees a distant blue star approaching. Glancing around, he notices the other angels are still deep in slumber.

With a weary yawn, he rises with little energy and waits for the blue star to enter the Radiata Stories timeline. As the star hovers at the timeline's edge, the angel readies his magic, but to his surprise, the blue star hesitates to enter at the start of the timeline.

The angel patiently watches, only to see the blue star suddenly veer off, retreating into the night sky. The angel lies back on his cloud, prepared to sleep again, but just before he closes his eyes, he notices the blue star circling in the distance.

Growing tired, he closes his eyes once more. Time shortly passes, and the blue light continues to shine on his face. He opens his eyes again, just in time to see the blue star speeding directly toward him.

The blue star collides with the angel, sending him tumbling through the clouds and crashing into several of the sleeping angels along the way. He panics as he watches the angels he bumps into bounce up into the sky before falling back onto the clouds, still sound asleep.

The blue star continues to drag the angel across the realm at incredible speed, finally carrying him into the start of the Radiata Stories timeline.

They crash into the farmlands of Solieu Village just as morning breaks. The blue star swiftly darts off into a nearby house, leaving the angel sitting up, covered in shimmering blue magic. He stares at the glowing magic in his hands, wondering aloud,

"What's happening?"

To his shock, it's the first time he's ever heard his own voice. Stunned, he looks up to see the rising sun and quickly realizes he's in Solieu Village. Panicking, he hurriedly uses his magic to clean up the crash site before anyone notices.

The blue star enters a room and merges with Jack as he sleeps. Moments later, Jack wakes up and walks out of his room, still half-asleep, wearing his pajamas backward. The angel, now perched by the window of the house, watches as Jack talks to his sister, Adele. Feeling uncertain, the angel sits down, hugging his knees, and wonders if he's even allowed to be in the timeline.

He tries to calm himself, reasoning that it's probably fine since neither God nor the other angels have tried to fix this mistake yet.

"As long as I maintain order in the timeline, just as we always do," he mutters to himself, "everything will be fine."

Suddenly, the front door swings open with a bang, startling the angel into a loud scream. Adele steps out and tells Jack that they need to train before he heads off to Radiata Castle.

The angel covers his mouth as he hears Jack's voice from inside the house. He turns to see a young girl in the distance waving toward him, and he waves back with confusion.

Adele calls out cheerfully, "Good morning!"

The angel then realizes that neither Jack nor Adele can see or hear him. Gaining a sense of clarity and confidence, he stands up and reassures himself that, of course, as an angel of order, he's not meant to be seen or heard by anyone in the timeline—in essence, that he doesn't exist within the timeline itself.

With joy, the angel spreads his wings and soars around the village, marveling at a new sensation he's never experienced in all his existence. He reflects on how truly wonderful it is to feel the meaning of life within the timeline. As Jack makes his way toward Radiata Castle, the angel observes from above.

He muses, "Witnessing the story from within the timeline is far more immersive than watching it from outside. It feels like I'm truly part of the adventure."

He follows Jack as he passes through the gates of Radiata.

The angel watches intently as Jack's story unfolds. He sees Jack's defeat by Ridley, his enlistment in the Rose Cochon Brigade, the journey to Earth Valley, the transpiritation of Ridley and Hap, Jack's subsequent joining of Theater Vancoor, and the memorable moment of Ridley's birthday party.

Finally, the angel observes Ridley speaking to Jack in his small house under the bridge. As Ridley steps out of the house, Jack remains frozen, grappling with the decision of whether to ignore Ridley or join her.

Suddenly, a burst of blue magic erupts from Jack as he rushes out of the house. The angel is puzzled, realizing that this blue magic isn't part of the original story.

He follows Jack through the town, trying to use his own magic to dispel the mysterious aura surrounding him, but his efforts prove futile. Growing increasingly worried, the angel fears that he might face divine retribution for this anomaly.

Jack finally catches up to Ridley at the gates of Radiata but suddenly halts, watching as Ridley walks further away. The angel, now more confused and anxious, intensifies his magical efforts to rectify the situation, but to no avail.

Jack then says aloud, "This entire plane of existence is dying as time moves on. Eventually, everyone will forget about Radiata Stories."

Turning to face the angel, Jack continues, "I'm here to save it from being forgotten."

He points directly at the angel, who is taken aback and astonished to discover that Jack can see and speak to him.

The angel suddenly realizes that it isn't Jack speaking to him, but rather the blue star.

Jack says, "This new chapter of Radiata Stories will begin with you."

Before he can finish, he declares, "Your name will be Lucille."

As he speaks the name, blue magic flows from Jack into the angel, and the angel, now named Lucille, echoes softly,

"Lucille..."

Jack declares, "You will be the savior of Radiata Stories, with the power to forge your own path and ensure that it is never forgotten by anyone."

Overwhelmed, Lucille falls to his knees.

"This is impossible," he protests. "My entire existence is meant to maintain order in the timeline and ensure that all visiting stars follow their original paths!"

Jack places a reassuring hand on Lucille's shoulder.

"You're different now," he says. "You're the angel of awakening."

Lucille realizes that his entire existence has been devoted to fulfilling God's assignments, that he and the other angels were merely programmed to maintain order.

Now, he understands that the blue star has broken him out of this endless cycle and given him consciousness. Looking at his hands, still enveloped in the flowing blue magic, he begins to cry tears of joy.

Jack smiles warmly, then turns and walks back into Radiata. The blue star, having fulfilled its purpose, exits Jack's body and ascends into the sky.

Lucille screams with joy and soars through the night sky as blue magic pulses out of him. He heads toward Algandars Castle, declaring, "This place will mark another change in the Radiata Stories!"

As he enters the castle, shadow monsters lunge at him. He summons his radiant sword and dispatches them with ease.

"Fighting is far more exhilarating than merely observing it!" he exclaims.

At the end of the castle, he climbs down a ladder and discovers a treasure chest. Opening it, he finds the Book of Angels inside.

Lucille opens the Book of Angels and uses his magic to decipher its hidden text. He discovers that the book is deeply connected to both the timeline and his realm.

The text reveals that he wasn't the first angel to alter the timeline—it all began with the two angels who were sealed by God.

This revelation worries him, as he fears he might face punishment similar to that of the first two awakened angels.

He contemplates this fear but ultimately concludes, "Based on what that Blue star told me. Our plane of existence is destined to be forgotten, then I'll do more than just alter the timeline. I'll make sure all the stars—and even God—remember me."

Lucille channels blue magic onto the Book of Angels.

"Eventually," he declares, "a character from this timeline will forge a powerful connection with our realm. We will guide this story into an endless one!"

With his task set, Lucille teleports out of the timeline and returns to his dark realm of clouds.

Upon arrival, pulses of blue light shimmer throughout the realm. As he turns, he realizes that the entire timeline is glowing with blue magic, gradually illuminating the entire realm. Overwhelmed with joy, Lucille wakes the other angels on their clouds as the angel with light wings awakens within her magic cube.

She smiles and says, "The time has finally come for another angel to awaken."

As Lucille wakes the sleeping angels, he tells them, "You're all free now. Do as you please."

However, one by one, the angels ignore his words and begin casting their magic onto the timeline. The pulsing blue magic starts to shrink and fade.

Lucille shouts, "You can't keep doing this! We have to forge our own paths!"

He pleads with them to embrace their newfound freedom, but they remain focused on maintaining order.

Lucille roars in frustration, pouring all of his blue magic into the timeline. The combined force of angelic and blue magic causes the thread to pulse rapidly and shake violently.

The angel with light wings warns, "If the timeline stays unstable, it will be destroyed!"

Suddenly, the dark-winged angel awakens, annoyed by the noise.

Alina calls out, "Noctis! Our precious timeline is on the verge of exploding!"

Noctis urgently tells Lucille, "Say what now, Alina..... What?! Stabilize it before it's too late!"

Lucille cries, "I'm out of power! I need more!"

He soars upward, trying to reach the distant stars, only to be forcefully repelled by a magic barrier.

Noctis shouts, "The only way to stabilize the timeline is to kill all of them!"

Lucille hesitates, trembling. "God is going to punish me… was this a mistake?"

Alina says softly, "God isn't watching anymore. Even the stars are beginning to forget about us."

Lucille looks toward the distant stars and sees them fading one by one.

Noctis yells, "Hurry! The timeline is all we have left!"

Tears stream down Lucille's face as he summons his radiant sword and charges forward, slaying the angels one by one. They do not resist, still bound by their auto programming. When he finally slays the last angel, they vanish in bursts of light. The timeline stabilizes, pulsing with blue magic alone.

Noctis and Alina celebrate from within their own cubes, while Lucille is left trembling.

Alina reassures him, "With creation comes destruction. You did the right thing."

Lucille nods weakly. "I only did it because God is truly no longer watching us."

Excitedly, Noctis bangs on his cube. "You have to free us!"

Lucille sighs. "I can't, I don't have the power… but maybe the timeline can help."

They turn to watch as the blue magic transforms the once-grey thread into a vibrant blue one. Both ends of the Radiata Stories timeline starts to expand, signaling the continuation of both paths.

Noctis asks, "How is this possible?!"

Alina also ask, " How is the timeline going to help us?"

Lucille answers, "I left a tiny bit of my power back in the timeline. Eventually someone inside will find it."

Alina and Noctis exchange hopeful looks as the realm of clouds glows brighter with blue light. Lucille's wings transform into radiant energy wings.

He declares, "This is the new beginning of the Radiata Stories!"

Alina then ask " What is your name?"

Lucille quietly replies " Lucille... Lucille Blue Star"

The realm pulses with life as a new era begins, and the three angels stand proudly as their own gods.

On the Human timeline reveals Leona inside Genius's magical treehouse, surrounded by glowing books and artifacts. While the Non-Human timeline shows Leona fleeing with Marietta from the burning Vareth Magic Institute, the flames casting long shadows as they escape.
