After the realization of who this woman was, the fear had settled in, completely banishing all of the vile thoughts in his mind. He tried to utter some words a few times but it came out as panicky mumbles, until…
"You're, the Druid of Night Silver! The most famous & Infamous player!" The Demon God's expression was one of near abject fear. There's never been anyone who could stand against her in single combat. If it's really her, then I'm screwed… Where's the respawn point?
"Indeed, there was a time around 400 years ago, I too was a player known by that title." She smirked, casually, watching as the fear twisted in the Demon God's expression. "Since you know this, it means you should also know just how hopeless this situation is, correct?" she reached down, hoisting the Demon God up with one hand.
"Uh? This strength… What the hell? How are you this strong? Were the rumors all true!?"
"Rumors?"
"About you hacking-"
She laughed. "No, I never once hacked. Though, I did defeat several hackers, so I can see why that rumor would have started." The smile she wore was unsettling… "However, nowadays, I'm far beyond anything like that." She sighed slightly, remembering the cost to reach this point. And then with the calmest smile she added: "Now then, choose, how would you like to die." She giggled…
"Huh?"
"Oh, that's right, I should confirm something of my own. Where do you think you are, right now?"
"In an underground beta game-"
"Hmm, and why do you think that?"
"Why else would I be in my avatar?"
"Good, empty your inventory, of everything you have. All items, equipment, and currencies." She smirked.
"Why should I?"
"Because if you don't I can promise that your death will not be pleasant… I doubt you'd even be capable of imagining it."
The items, and money started flowing out, until a point. Night Silver shook the Demon God again, and more items came out… She continued this process until nothing else came out.
"Good boy. Now then-" She turned to the elven hero. "Go ahead and pick this up will you? I'm sure there'll be something in there that'll help you out my darling child."
The elf's ears flicked with excitement as she smiled, holding her hands together expectantly. "Truly, Mother!"
"Yes, if there is something that suits your companions, they may have it as well."
"YAY!"
And so, the 13 Heroes, most of them, began searching through the massive pile of items… All to the chagrin of the Demon God. He started crying as he watched his life's savings disappear, though he had no choice, he was helpless in this state.
"So much for being heroes, they're nothing more than a bunch of loot gob-" He was shook quite vigorously, his spine almost snapped before the shaking stopped. "What was that for!?"
"Never call my child something so gross as a goblin." She glared death into the Demon God's eyes. I wonder, what's the best use for this idiot? Should I break his mind entirely, and add him into the mix of those creatures to increase my supply of player inventories? Or should I just kill him, permanently of course, I'd be remiss if he ended up reincarnated as a child of mine.
"Okay, okay! I get it!" The Demon God pissed himself. Huh? That was never a function in the game. It's so realistic. I… I have to confirm this… "Druid of Night Silver, is this world, perhaps not a game?" He asked as drops of his urine fell to the ground, a truly revolting scent.
"Ugh, you're disgusting. And stupid as they come." She grumbled. "Yes, this world is real, this is not a video game, people here live their lives, no one respawns. In fact, without measures in place, you won't come back to life… But, it's not like you need to know any of this."
"And why's that?"
"Because you're going to die here."
"Mother! Look at what I found! It's a super cool bow!"
"Awe, that's a good piece of equipment. It looks like you're able to use most of its power, and it raises your combat ability a bit. Use it with pride, just like that black armor guy there who found four matching swords." She giggled.
"I know, it's so cool! This evil demon really had a lot of good things." The elf seemed to squirm, wanting to ask something else.
"What is it darling?"
"Well, it's hard to gain what's needed to level up. So I was hoping I could use this evil demon as my boost." The elf was rather expectant, even gently biting her thumb, and moving like she was half way to orgasm.
"Pfft!" Night Silver started giggling. "Of course my child. If it would be helpful to you, then please, make use of this rotten bastard. He wouldn't give me much experience anyway."
"Thank you mother!!!!! You're the best, I love you so much!"
The black armored knight came out of his trance, practicing with his new favorite weapons. "Would it be alright if I helped out too?"
"Hmm? You're the one with a thing for my daughter?" A brief moment passed with Night Silver sizing the knight up. "Sure, the two of you should be enough to deal with him. Even though level 100's are usually quite powerful, the majority of that power comes from their equipment…" she smiled. "However, you're still too weak to actually handle breaking past this guy's immunities. I'll resolve that issue for you, and have all the fun you want. So long as my daughter gets the most out of this. She bravely asked first."
And so, with a handful of buffs, and debuffs later… The Demon God, in a hyper weakened status was helpless under his assailants. He died, and was then revived, he lost lifeforce, but not much.
"Huh? I didn't lose 5 levels?"
"Nope, I cast a special resurrection spell, one that only results in about half a level up to a full level of lost experience." Night Silver giggled, holding up a finger as if explaining a detailed system in simple terms. "You'll have a higher yield the stronger you are, so won't you die for them a little more?"
This Demon God, became a fat sheep for the 13 Heroes. Their means of maxing out their soul's limits, and setting the stage for their strength to truly be where it needed to be. Eventually, the Demon God had been killed over 100 times, and his mind was broken as he begged to never be revived… Finally he was given just that.
