Lizzie's reaction was probably the most priceless of all, she'd lost the majority of the age-defining wrinkles replacing them with ones from an ear to ear smile, all while her pupils dilated.
"Well that's certainly one way to start having a good day. Are the two of you seeing this? Your boy is growing into a man." Lizzie spoke as if addressing the spirits of others, clearly meaning Nfirea's parents who were no longer of this realm.
"It is a good day. I finally got to see the boy she's been talking about the whole trip." Night Silver giggled, her chest bounced ever so slightly, showing off her degree of control.
The door chimed again, and in came Nemu. She was told to wait outside until after she got the signal from Night Silver to come inside, the signal being a message spell.
"Oh wow! Mommy, is that my new big-brother?" She asked, running up to grab Night Silver's hand, pointing at Nfirea.
"Yes, in my eyes they are no longer strangers, or friends, they are married. We can do a more public announcement outside, and again in Carne." She answered, picking Nemu up for a drink. "I quite like marriage parties. They often lead to several more, rather quickly. Dancing is also quite a lot of fun. Thank your big sister, because of her you're going to see the very first Tus Nadairian wedding."
"Thank you Enri! I love you!"
Enri, and Nfirea had been completely oblivious to their surroundings, both of them had known about the other's feelings, and now, the pureness of the cathartic feeling had been so overwhelming, 10 minutes went by before they stopped kissing, and rubbing their hands all over each other… Enri did a sizable portion of the feeling up, grabbing Nfirea by the butt showing she was in charge, he liked it. In short, they were perfect for each other.
"That was… amazing. Thank you mother, I wouldn't have had the confidence otherwise."
"No, you are confident on your own. I only showed you that your feelings were truly ones of romantic, and sexual nature. For me, seeing that is as easy as breathing." She giggled, and put a hand on hip, locking one knee and bending the other in a proud, sassy pose. "Now then, the real question is what do you want to do now?"
"I want my husband to see me in my Nadairian dress."
Enri was shown to a room with the special dress, and once she came out, it was clear that the dress fit her perfectly. Her pride on full display, she wasn't that far off from a true Nadairian woman's smallest size, but, pregnancy generally changed that.
Nfirea, saw Enri in the new dress and his jaw dropped, it was like his brain just shut off. He was so stunned Night Silver walked up, lifted his jaw, let go, and it fell again.
"Pfft, you picked a wonderfully interesting man for your own, my dear."
"Thank you, mother."
Lizzie had been off to the side for a while now, and finally managed to speak after the shocks started neutralizing each other out.
"Lady Nature, how will this work out? My grandson is a well known pharmacist in this city."
"Oh, Nfirea will be moving to Carne village. There he'll be able to continue doing his work, perform research and even get to live with his wife. Even start a family."
"That… Would it be possible? We are known for supporting the adventurers guild with our potions."
"If you want to stay here, that's fine. I am sure that arranging a delivery of herbs won't be that hard." Night Silver said, rubbing Lizzie's head with a gentle touch. "But if you stay here it might be hard to see those great-grandkids. Take it from me, they're going to be adorable."
"I'll move the whole shop to Carne, and have the potions delivered instead!" Lizzie said with a strong and excited conviction. "Ill need to start packing, and get a house built up for me over there."
"No need to worry about that for now." Night Silver grabbed Lizzie by the hand. "Enri, it's time to dance."
With a rather confused public, they danced in the street, passersby seemed to struggle with what they were seeing. A group of people was dancing, one was a young human woman with her license and registration in full view for the world to see, and another woman was an elf, with a dress that showed off the majority of her torso.
A horse drawn cart came to a sudden stop, and the driver started shouting, despite the fact there wasn't any reason to stop, their path was not blocked in the slightest.
"What the hell is going on here?" His temper was terrible. A truly disgusting aura surrounded him.
"They're celebrating the young couple's union. If you're in a hurry, go around, there's plenty of space." The Vice Chief expressed in his slightly Gazef-esq way. He'd done some growing recently.
"I'm carrying a very important person, get these peasants out of the way."
What happened next shook the driver to his core. Night Silver was floating in the air right in front of him, staring directly into his eyes… watching as the fear grew by the second.
"You're a rude man, daring to interrupt a marriage celebration like this, are you a fake man?"
"I'm an Alpha, now get out of the way." The driver received a slap that nearly dislodged his jaw. Followed up by a back hand, breaking his jaw bone in two different places.
"Did your mother ever teach you to be kind? Did your father ever teach you to be respectful?" She scolded. "If they did, you dishonor them. If not, then you're all dishonorable wastes. Now get out of here."
The driver didn't wait any longer, the cart began to pull away, and Night Silver could see there was a member of the clergy inside that cart, along with the faint smell of ammonia… she let out a light giggle, and thought to herself: Guess he knows who I am, and let his underwear go through a small crisis. The Slane Theocracy, do they have anyone worthy of being called a man? Or is it just a bunch of wastes lusting after swan meat?
