While the majority of the manor's visitors went to sleep, Gazef stayed up with the Governor for a bit of light, and some not so light topics. Specifically the idea of fighting the Slane Theocracy was not an easy thing to think about. It led to the emptying of an entire bottle of whiskey, and here in E-Rantel, those were not small bottles.
…
The morning came and the manor served breakfast, Nemu and Enri were devouring the rare food like it was the best thing they'd ever had. Nemu finished her meal, and happily smiled.
"Can I have a little more?" Nemu asked with a cute expression.
"Of course you can, get the young miss another helping." The governor ordered with a joyous tune. He didn't care about the cost, nor the status of the one who'd asked.
Right now, his own daughter, who had recently been on death's door, was now far more energetic, and cooing, going through several phases of growth. All of this was a direct result of the life spring that was Night Silver's breast, a fountain of youth. Even now, the toddler was drinking from the breast of the most beautiful woman in the world.
"She's so adorable, thank you, goddess, I have no idea how I could possibly repay you for this."
"Pfft, don't worry, all of the things cutie Gazef asked for are fine. I love feeding children from my breast, the way they smile warms my heart. Know that you're already paying me back in full. She'll take a little longer before she's fully recovered, so if it's alright I'd like to take her with me for my tour of the city."
"Oh, uh yeah, that's fine, my wife can accompany you today, you won't be stopped by anyone with her there." The Governor's reply held a hint of lustful embarrassment.
"Pfft governor, you're wondering what my milk tastes like right now, aren't you?" Night Silver giggled, causing the recovering toddler on her breast to giggle happily.
"Huh, oh um…" He fumbled his words. "I am an honorable man so I must speak true, I was thinking about it."
"Do you want to try from my breast or shall I milk it into a glass?"
"You'd do that?"
"Of course, I don't mind. I like it when people enjoy my milk. I worked hard to keep it this good."
After a rather embarrassing few moments where several of the maids and everyone tried a drink, women were the only ones bold enough to drink from her breast, the men on the other hand had a little bit of an issue… the party left to explore the city, the governess explained all of the details about each of the buildings and history of several places. Eventually they all came to a specific spot, ignoring all of the staring eyes.
"And this is the Bareare family shop, they are the city's and I dare say the country's best alchemists." The governess said pointing out the exact place Night Silver wanted to go ever since she'd heard about the situation with Enri's love life.
"Oh wow they look like they're doing well for themselves. Let's go in and say hi, Enri. Maybe you'll see that young man you've taken a liking to?"
"Will you help?"
"I'll do whatever you want dear, even help you fit into that dress I got you to really surprise him."
"I want to make him mine…"
Night Silver smiled, and handed the governess' daughter back to her mother. Then grabbed Enri by the hand, and pushed open the door to enter the shop. The door's bell chimed announcing the store had a customer.
Out from deep in the shop a voice soundly vaguely like a young man undergoing puberty sounded out with a great deal of confidence. "Welcome in, I'll be right over to help you, dear customer."
"Oh wow this place looks pretty good, there's even antidotes, and awakenings. That's impressive. Not many humans are able to make these. The alchemist must be interesting." Night Silver spoke loudly, and clearly enough to give the young man a few little hiccups. ANd sure enough hearing the words, in the voice and tone, the young man made a slightly more hurried hustle.
Rounding the corner, a young man in an alchemist's apron, with long blonde hair and bangs, came into view. He was a bit scrawny, and with a few in the few moments he'd been in her sights, Night Silver had both of them pegged. He was a slightly meek man yet dependable, and Enri is a dominating young woman, but also wants a dependable man for social security.
"My name is Nfirea Bareare, allow me to thank you for patronizing my family store. It's rare to find someone else with such a keen eye when it comes to potions. Is there anything I can help you find? If you don't see what you need here, we take orders. All of the potions we can make are listed on the board here." The young man said with a bow, closed eyes, and a smile. Soon those eyes opened, and he stood up straight to see the sight of a lifetime looking back at him.
"That's kind of you. But I'm not here for me, young Nfirea. I brought a young woman with me, who really wanted to visit you. But, I won't move until you say one of my names. I need to know if you think yourself worthy."
"Grandmother?!" Nfirea called to the back with a bit of confusion. "The name of that woman your master always talked about, they were…"
Lizzie Bareare came out from the back room slowly walking up not even looking. "Boy what are you talking about so freely like that? My master told me I couldn't say they were my master. Something about elven pride or whatever." Her eyes fell upon the goddess… "In all my years, it's the Elven Guardian Mother herself, in the flesh. Why didn't you tell me she was here?"
"The… Goddess?" Nfirea's eyes widened, and he looked right back to Night Silver. "My Lady!!! Goddess… It's an honor."
"Pfft, you're worthy of her. Come on out darling."
Enri rolled out from behind Night Silver, crossing her arms and leaned into the goddess mother, her lips curled into an embarrassed, yet sexy smile. "Mother, don't give away too much. I still want to say it myself." She said, and then walked right up in front of Nfirea, looking him dead in the eyes. "I am in love with you, I want you to marry me, Nfirea."
Nfirea's heart pounded against his chest, he gulped and answered, not with words, and yet it was still a lip based response.
