The first thing Brooke did upon arriving home, was take off her clothes and take a long shower. Afterwards, she sent for Hannah, and tendered the clothes she had worn earlier to her.
"Mrs Grayson, what do you want me to do with these?" Hannah asked, examining the fairly new clothes she had just bought with the young master.
"Burn them." Brooke ordered, her gaze fierce.
Hannah nodded, "As you wish."
On her way out, she met with Thane, who had just finished from an emergency meeting with his team, they were set to launch a new brand of medical tech in a month, and every test ran heavily mattered.
"Young master," Hannah greeted, her head down.
Thane grunted, then stepped inside, making sure to shut the door after him.
Brooke's eyes softened when she saw him, they always did. And whenever they did, his would light up, as though he were holding the world in one sight. However, tonight, Thane's eyes were hardened.
