They sat Brooke down, told her all about Axel's sister, who used to work as a maid at their mansion, about Dylan's sister, and even mentioned Jen, the secretary who had been a victim of Ethan's abuse.
After carefully listening to them, Brooke braced herself for the round of questions they would have.
"Brooke," Dylan calmly started off, "If you don't want to help, he can't force you. But, if you know that there's some evidence we can use, to finally punish that bastard, then please, help us." He begged her.
Brooke nodded, "Of course I'll help." She turned to Axel, "And what about you guys? How's the evidence collecting going on your end?"
Axel frowned, "The police station is still very tight, but there should be a chance for me to slip into the Captain's office next week."
"Why? Is something happening?" Brooke questioned.
"Some very important guests are flying into the country, apparently, the captain and the higher ups are to go greet them." Axel informed them.
