"What a crappy place..." Karen muttered quietly as she stood in the dimly lit office building corridor. She followed the doorplate numbers forward and finally saw the sign for Chenxing Studio. The sign was recently put up, designed jointly by Xia Lu and Jin Meng, and custom-made by someone.
Although Jin Fengnan had said this matter wasn't related to her, and Jin Meng didn't insist on dragging him to help, she still specially came over on her day off to see what it was all about inside. She guessed that for entrepreneurs just starting a studio, weekends were not a time to rest.
Her intuition was correct; Jin Meng and Xia Lu were currently working overtime in the studio to handle the first client's web design requirements, finalizing small details, striving to start formal design work next week.
"Am I interrupting you?" The studio door wasn't closed, and Karen knocked twice before walking in.
