Dissatisfied with the overbearing attitude during the interview, Karen went straight to Jin Fengnan's office after finishing her work.
"We need to talk," she said.
Jin Fengnan put down his work and looked up at her, "Talk about what?"
"I think at least in work, we should maintain a clear boundary between public and private matters. Just because I'm your sister doesn't mean you should interfere with the work that originally belongs to me," Karen said. "For example, the interview just now was merely for a small departmental supervisor; there was no need for you to get involved, was there?"
"Other departments may not need it, but the design department is different," Jin Fengnan looked at her. "Moreover, this has nothing to do with our personal relationship. Even if the director of the design department weren't you, I would still participate in the interview. This issue really doesn't relate to our relationship; you're overthinking."
