"Miss Xia, why not call Mr. Zhou? You might not be able to handle the current situation alone," the driver suggested quietly to Xia Lu as he approached her.
"No need." Xia Lu immediately shook her head, refusing decisively. "It's unnecessary."
She knew that something like this might not mean much to Zhou Mingchen; replacing damaged items is easy, and capturing the culprit is the police's job. Even if he came, he wouldn't be able to solve the problem.
Xia Lu picked up the scattered documents on the ground, organized them, and carefully checked each one to look for missing parts. Fortunately, although these documents were thrown haphazardly on the floor, some even with footprints left by the vandals, none were missing. The perpetrators' goal wasn't to destroy the documents but more so to damage the interior hardware facilities.
The driver came in and started tidying up the room with her.
