"Huh? Madam, you're back quite early today." As soon as Xia Lu walked in, Aunt Zhang greeted her and quickly took the pile of documents from her hands. "What are all these?"
"These are all for work," replied Xia Lu. "Just put them aside for me."
"Oh." Aunt Zhang arranged the documents neatly on the coffee table, stared at them for a moment, then turned to ask, "Madam, you're bringing all your work home, does that mean you don't have to go to the office?"
"Yes, I'll be working from home for the next few days."
"That's great." Aunt Zhang beamed at the news. "I've been wanting to try some new dishes, and with you at home, you can give me some feedback." She chattered on, oblivious to Xia Lu's mood.
