Meanwhile, hundreds of miles away, Jack was still running at inhumane speeds towards the town of Forks.

'It should take around five hours to seven.' Jack thought as he continued his pace without stopping even once.

The reason?

It was curiosity, what exactly was the problem that Emmet and the Cullens were facing, a problem that involved Bella Swan.

The woman who had received such drastically different treatment compared to him.

Back then, he had felt betrayed and wronged.

Now, he had no such emotions, he didn't have many of them if at all.

Curiosity however seemed unstoppable, making him feel like he was what people would call a curious cat.

'Will my curiosity be my own downfall?' Jack wondered to himself soberly before releasing a small chuckle that got muffled by the sound of the rushing air around him as he ran.

'Well then, only one way to find out.'

That was Jack's final thought before his mind was cleared and he continued his super-speed run.

Hours passed, and soon enough he arrived in the town of Forks.

It was early morning, the grass was frozen and the smell of snow was in the air.

The town felt as hollow and deserted as he had left it.

He could see at most one or two people walking through the downtown roads of the city, and even then they were merely going somewhere, not actually walking through just for the sight as many people did in bigger towns and cities.

Taking a deep breath, Jack continued his walk through the town, heading towards its outskirts.

That was where his destination lay.

On the outskirts of Forks, inside the dense pine woods that housed a multitude of different species of wildlife.

A large modern mansion housing supernatural creatures.

It took him an hour, his pace slow as he took in the nostalgic sights of the city.

It hadn't been long in actuality.

To Jack, however? It felt like he hadn't been here in centuries.

Everything seemed so different, but maybe it wasn't that Forks had changed.

'It's me, I've changed, I've become a stranger to the Jack who used to live here in his run-down apartment, hoping that his mother would send him enough money this month so that he wouldn't have to work more part-time jobs.' Jack thought before shaking his head to clear the thoughts out.

This wasn't the time, and maybe there would never be a time for those thoughts.

He had to keep moving forward, or he would be swallowed whole by this new world that he had been forcefully slammed into.

Arriving before the mansion, Jack saw the Cullens immediately.

They looked to be in a hurry as they ran out of the house and toward their cars.

"Where are you going?" Jack asked, his calm voice resonating through the silence of the forest.

Whatever the Cullens and Bella were about to talk to each other about was interrupted as they turned to look in the direction of the voice.

There they saw him.

Jack Sparrow, He had returned once more.

"Jack? Is that you?" Emmet asked, his face showing both confusion as well as curiosity.

'He's changed so much' That was a thought that resonated through all of their minds as they looked at the young vampire.

"Yeah, so anyone going to answer my question?" Jack replied as he nodded his head, still walking closer and closer to them.

"We don't have time, hop in. I'll explain during the drive." Emmet said as he jumped into his Jeep, Rosalie quickly following behind him.

"Sure" Jack answered as he hopped into the backseat of the Jeep.

With a turn of the key, the engine roared as it ignited and the car reversed out of the drive-through before Emmet slammed the gas and drove down the road.

"So what's happening?" Jack asked.

His questioned remained unanswered for a few moments, it seemed like it had brought an ammount of tension into the air that hadn't been there before.

"James, a Vampire has found out about Bella and is hunting her down, we have to kill him," Emmet replied, his voice tense.

"Why are you so tense? Sounds like an easy enough job." Jack replied, clearly showing his confusion over the matter.

"He's gone to Pheonix, to Bella's mom. We don't have a lot of time, actually, she could already be dead by the time we arrive there. We're going to take the first flight."

"It's because Edward refused to turn her, if he had done that from the beginning, none of this would have happened." Rosalie interjected, her voice clearly showing her anger at the situation.

"Rose, you know he wouldn't be able to do that."

"He seemed capable enough to me," Jack said, his voice sounding like he was on the verge of laughter.

Only for that feeling to completely disperse at his next words.

"Why are you still listening to the dumbass however?" Jack questioned, he actually wanted to hear the answer to the question.

"Because just how I consider you my own brother Jack, Edward is our brother as well. We can't break him down." Emmet replied the tension in his voice clearly reached even higher at Jack's words.

"I see, well allright then. Guess we have a vampire to hunt." Jack said as he reclined back fully into the seat.

"Yeah..." Emmet replied, clearly confused at Jack letting the matter go so easily.

"You've changed quite drasticlly." Rosalie spoke up as her eyes seemed to gaze at Jack's figure through the reflection on the mirror.

"I guess I have," Jack replied, not giving her any more information and effectively ending the chain of questions that could have occurred from his answer.

The drive was quick, and so was the flight.

Hours later, Jack together with Emmet and Rosalie found themselves in Pheonix Arizona.

"Thankfully there isn't any sun out or you would be in quite the bit of trouble." Jack said as he looked at the outside through the airport windows.
