Damian has tears welled in his eyes. When he is 5, his mother died, he lived in streets for two years scavenging trash and begging for food. Then he is taken to the orphanage by a kind lady, even though the funds aren't enough, she kept somehow feeding the children in orphanage. She is the matron and caretaker too for them.
Damian thought he had the light in his life from her. He swore to somehow make the orphanage a better place, he tried going to work but the matron denied that. Damian thought if he can study and work hard, he will get a job in future and he can help the matron Lucy in managing the orphanage.
But all those plans went to drain, these people killed eveyeone in the orphanage. Damian is lucky he isn't in the orphanage at that time, he is sent to pick up a letter. Although this is something new as the matron never asked to do this, he compiled. But as he is coming back, he saw the orphanage is surrounded with strange mist and barrier.
Fear gripped his mind, he slowly sneaked into the orphanage. Then sas the horros that are happening. His fellow children, the matron and the nuns in the orphanage everyone screaming in pain as people with strange sticks in their hands pointed at them and muttered something.
Immediately with red light hitting the people they started screaming. Damian ran to ask for help, but no one can see the orphanage which is strange, he repeatedly told them that. But he is considered a kid who is crazy and ignored even by the cops. No one can see the orphanage. They said they only saw a very big boulder there and one even tried to sent him to mental disability treatment.
Then, the people in hoods appeared again. The cops pointed their guns at them, but they just waved their wands and the guns flew away. Damian knew he had to run, so he did. He didn't know what happened to those cops, but he knew they won't be safe.
Damian is holding his hands over his mouth, fear gripped him, tears flowed down from eyes, his face and body are stained with dust. There are some bruises in his body. His heart is racing, many emotions ran through him. Rage, despair, sorrow, fear, bitterness.
Damian knew nothing about why this group of strange people are targetting him. He is a nobody, an orphan at that. Could it be they're enemies of his mother? Or father whom he has never seen. Whenever he asks his mother about him, she just gave him a sad look and never revealed anything.
Not even his name or appearance. All he knows about his father, is that he can be dead. He saw his mother crying when she was alive saying," Dear, I miss you so much. I wanted to end myself and come to you. But our will suffer if I do that. And we had to run just to survive. Some people seemed to caught the scent of me and our child. They will come for us. Your siblings aren't ones to show mercy. Show me a way darling. I wish to live for our son ".
Her silent cries are gone to waste. Even after all this time, he felt anger towards his father. Could it be his father's siblings sent these people to kill him.
As he is thinking, one of the men appeared in front of him and caught him. " Petrificus Totalus, Got you little fella ", Damian stiffened immediately, he felt he can't move. Not even a finger of his obeyed his command to move. The man smirked and threw him to the ground before saying," hey I got him. Get your asses here, we have to record and submit the evidence, that we tortured and killed this guy ".
One of them took out a strange orb. It floated into the air. And Damian heard a shout," crucio ", a red light hit him from one of their sticks. He felt unimaginable pain. But even his mouth refused to scream, he lay there petrified completely. The pain is so unbearable for him.
" Why isn't he screaming? Idiot remove the petrificus curse and bound him with ropes instead".

Immediately his ropes bound his body tightly along with his limbs. He can feel his body can move now but with ropes he still lay there helpless while they resumed their work.

The black smoke in the air suddenly converged into one point and Damian appeared, his face pale and his body carried many wounds, the black smoke is still emitting from his body. He spit out blood and fell down losing consciousness then and there. But before losing consciousness, he saw a strange light in front of him.
The ring his mother left for him glowed a little as drops of blood spilled on it. A strange eerit light entered him and he saw a rectangular box, the size of small tv before losing consciousness.
