Damian nodded. He understood his situation. He isn't disappointed by it. He would earn it later by himself. The top priority now is to find who is it that ordered tried to assassinate him. Damian asked Dumbledore," Headmaser, do you know who hired those assassins? And what happened to them? ".
Dumbledore paused, his eyes flashed with a little vigilance and guilt. Damian felt a legilimancy probe, he tried Occlumancy and was barely able to repel it. Dumbledore looked at him with a serious expression and said," Child, you need to understand vengeance will give you nothing but endless sorrow. If you go on this path, the only thing that will remain is guilt and despair. Don't head to this path. It's full of darkness. You'll be led astray and lose yourself in it ".
Damian just gave a nod, but he has no plans to give up his vengeance. It'll be a sin for him to not avenge the ones who are slaughtered because of him.

" Occ-What? I don't know what you're talking about. When you tried to get into my head, I started to feel something but soon, I know you're trying to read my mind. Please stop this. Respect other's privacy headmaster and for the record, I might be somewhat impulsive and careless, but I'm not a fool to not discover something obvious when each you're near my head throbs for a few seconds ", Damian tried to bluff.
Dumbledore frowned but he didn't ask any questions after that. Using Legilimancy is illegal especially on students. So for now he gave up on getting his answers. He is a little surprised that Damian is able to figure out he is reading the boy's mind. But never surprised, some races got the ability to counter probes not to mention he has seen a natural born legilimens before. So he is thinking Damian might be a special case.
But he isn't completely out of suspicion. Although he can see that the Occlumancy is not that good but only enough to block some weak probes, he don't want to push it. Afterall he is dealing with an obscurus. It's better to be careful.

That's quite a warning and a challenge. Damian remembered the phantom theif story he read as a child. ' maybe I can accept this challenge as a test to gauge my strength before going after that murderer ', Damian thought.
As Dumbledore appeared at the bank, it caused quite a commotion. All goblins turned to look at him along with everyone in the bank. It's the same when they entered Diagon Alley. It seems Dumbledore is quite famous in wizarding world. Many called him the strongest wizard alive according to human standards.
So that means are there more powerful people in other races. Then they started shopping, first are clothes and robes. Madam Malkins shop is famous for that. When Damian saw the shop, he blinked. It has muggles style clothes. He thought wizards ignored muggles fashion but it seems that's not the case at all.
As they entered the shop, Damian jaw dropped. Outside this shop is barely medium size compared to shops he saw in muggles world, but now seeing the inside, he is quite shocked. It's size is very big. As big as four or five buildings combined.
Dumbledore chuckled and explained," untraceable stretching charm. A quite useful trick it is. You'll learn that in your later years ", Damian nodded. There are many people here. But most are looking at the already prepared ones and buying them.
Damian also went to pick his robes as custom made ones are expensive as Madam Malkin herself will prepare them. As Damian picked up his robes and coming back, he heard a snort," move mudblood. Out of my way ".
He blinked and turned around, there is a blond boy standing there with two chubby looking biys beside him. " Didn't you hear what I said? Tsk, mudbloods are indeed as stupid as father said. Move out of the way. Although he don't know what exactly that is, hearing the word blood, he knew it is an insult and bad word. Not mention even others around are whispering something about it.
Damian frowned and moved and while the boys are leaving, he made the blond trip and hit his face straight to the ground.
*Crack*
" Ahhhh ", The boy fell and screamed. Damian ignored him and the two who are trying to lift the boy. He disappeared into the crowd after locating Dumbledore.
" How dare a mudblood insult me? Where is he? I'm going to makehim pay for this humiliation ", he looked around. The mocking stares and low giggles from the crowd felt deeply humiliating to him. He felt his prideful heart waver, it took a hit. He wanted to beat that mudblood until he beg him for mercy and make him lick his boots.
But Damian after finding Dumbledore paid the bill and left. So his attempts to find Damian are futile in Madam Malkins store.
Touching his bleeding nose with his hand kerchief, Draco vowed make the mudblood pay. He can't leave this store yet. His mother is with Madam Malkin seeing his clothes are done properly. More over, he don't want to be lost in this place.
