Arwen's expression shifted as she heard her. His eyes grew serious as she stared into an empty distance.
She had asked Mia to look for a capable neurologist. She wasn't sure about it, but this was the last resort she was able to think of.
She had lost her memories and had no clues to recover them. Given, it's a medical situation, she thought a doctor could help her better.
"Help me book an appointment with him, then, Mia," she said, her voice carrying a determination.
"Ma'am, we can't get one now?" the secretary said, and that made Arwen's brows tug together in confusion.
"We can't get one?"
And Mia hummed from the other end. "Yes, ma'am. The doctor isn't currently in the state. He might come in a week or two. Only when he is here can we get his appointment."
"Okay then," Arwen said, giving it a thought. "Get an appointment when he returns, then."
"Yes, ma'am," Mia affirmed. "And ma'am, will you be coming to the office today?"
