Zachariah's Point Of View
I was thoroughly exhausted, and uncontrollably pissed off. I had never imagined that I would need to take action on the front lines, but the situation had become ridiculously burdensome, the longer the day dragged on.
As I finished off the remaining men who had foolishly decided to confront me, a black SUV came barreling toward me. "Please wait, Sir! I think that's one of ours!" Mahlekai exclaimed, as he placed his hand atop my gun.
The SUV skidded to an abrupt stop beside me, the window already lowered. I shivered, as an unexpected surge of irritation shot up my spine.
"Sir, please get in. The men have encountered a complicated problem at our city limits." Mirren said frantically, as he quickly unlocked the doors.
